Tip 6: SHOULDER BLADES
Or as I said in the video " Scapulas"....
Being aware of the position and able to control your shoulder blades is SUUUUUUPER IMPORTANT TO:
✔avoid neck and shoulder tension ( during your daily activities and exercises)
✔ avoid shoulder injuries .
✔ activate the right muscles in the right order .
✔ keep a good posture in all the exercises (lower body and upper body).
What to do to keep your shoulder blades in "Neutral" position: .
✔ Pull your Shoulders down - keeping your ears away from your shoulders; .
✔ Pull your shoulder blades back, squeezing them towards each other .
✔ You need to feel and see your shoulders going back and your chest opening up! .
✔ Make sure your Core is tight so your not compensating with your Lower Back. .
☝️ The idea of this video in to teach you how to keep your shoulder blades in NEUTRAL position while you do most of your exercises and during the day (office, driving, walking around).
Eventually I will post about exercises where the shoulder blades move 👍
