The equine scapula is attached to the chest by a network of very strong muscles and ligaments. There is no boney attachment as there is in humans, given that the horse does not have a functional clavicle (collar bone).

With our ridden horses we need to make sure that our saddles fit. The tree of the saddle is often sat in a position where the shoulder blade is restricted in its range of movement, which can cause uncomfortable pinching and even lead to muscle wastage. Salamba Sarvangasana (Supported Shoulder Stand)
.
Lie on the back. Lay your arm on floor alongside your body. Palms facing down, both feet together.
Take deeply breath, pushing on the floor with your elbows, lift both of the legs, hips and back side up towards ceiling and bent your elbows, supporting back side with both of your hands.
Draw your knees toward your forehead. If you were able to find a balance, put your hands on to the floor.
Making interlocking fingers, move shoulder blade and elbows closer to each other.
From there, again supported your back with your hands, brings both of your legs up and points your toes out.

✔︎Stretches your neck, shoulders, along with spinal.
✔︎Improves Digestion and thyroid gland, and metabolism is regulated

Many people have poor movement of the scapulae in exercises like push-ups and the bench press. This shoulder warm-up teaches you how to properly retract and protract your shoulder blades. The key here is to keep the elbows straight throughout the exercise. Reach forward using the weight to get a big stretch in the rhomboids and traps, then SQUEEZE your shoulder blades together and feel those muscles contract. Use this movement before your next big chest or shoulder workout! You can also do this movement with a lat pull-down machine, which would reinforce elevation and depression of the shoulders.

The scapulothoracic joint involves an articulation between the scapula (shoulder blade) and the rib cage. Interestingly, this ‘joint’ is not actually a true joint as it does not possess many of the typical structures associated with our other freely moveable joints including a joint capsule and synovial fluid. In fact, our scapulothoracic joint is controlled largely by the surrounding musculature, except for the AC joint where the acromion process of the scapula attaches to the collarbone.

Clinically, the scapulothoracic joint is interesting because the vast majority of people barely know it exists and even less people have any idea of how to control its movement. With so many movements possible including elevation, depression, upward and downward rotation, protraction and retraction and anterior/posterior tipping, there is much to see when it comes to this unique region of the body.

So while growing up a bigger girl I never in my life would have dreamed that I would have beautiful shoulder's/ collar bone. I was always so jealous of girls where you could see their wings and their beautiful neck lines. And now after losing all my weight I am absolutely in love with my collarbone/neckline! I still can't believe it, I always have that feeling like I'm still big, but then I look at pictures of myself like this and damn I'm proud of what I have accomplished! 😍👌🙌

Infelizmente as Alterações Mecânicas que ocorrem no nosso corpo são atitudes que tomamos ao longo de nossas vidas.. .

E a mulher tende a sofrer muito mais com essas alterações, como por exemplo o fato delas ficarem sempre  de perna Cruzada ao sentar para trabalhar, almoçar, ficar conversando com as amigas, e isso leva a um Desbalanceamento Muscular (Adutores/Glúteos) que consequentemente leva a um Desnível Horizontal/Diagonal da Pelve conhecido como Báscula de Quadril! .

Outro problema muito recorrente é o uso de salto 👠 alto durante o dia a dia, e sobe escada, desce escada e por aí vai.. e os desequilíbrios continuam a afetar a mecânica da marcha, fiquem sempre atentas aos sinais de incômodos, Inflamações e dores fortes nos componentes Articulares dos Pés, Joelhos, Quadril, Coluna e Ombros! .

What is it to speak our truth? It's to lay bare the highway of communication between heart and brain, emotion and mind, Jiva and Brahman. Whether rounded forward, hiked up around the ears or even pulled down the back, an exaggerated shoulder girdle creates disharmony and reuniting with its intelligence can free pain, provide more mobility and foster a sweeter more connected communication between the heart and the mind.
