Almost time to launch our second holiday cottage located in the Yorkshire Dales NP yet only a short drive to the Lakes. Best of both worlds! Views from every window, next to the river and only a short walk to the nearest village with its quaint shops, cafes and traditional pubs! Last day (well, morning) here in Amsterdam. I’ve had such a lovely time! Here’s a snap from the canal cruise we did on the first night which was really cool! Last night we had cocktails and then dinner in Chinatown and we’re about to potter around and hunt for breakfast 😍😎
Loving the new Bee Lights in the Fairy Garden and BBQ area. This area is available for anyone staying in our self catering shepherd's huts. Check out staying with us on our website (in our profile). #fairygarden#fairylights#Glamping#shortbreaks

I like to take short breaks. It doesn't take a long time for me to just relax and get back on track. I actually love posting. Though, there is an ugly truth behind all social media that we use. When you think about it, we put ourselves online and ask others to pay attention to us. We crave attention because deep down we all suffer greatly from the world's cruel nature. All we want is to connect to as many people as possible and have fun while doing it. Nobody is able to put their phone down for hours due to social media's hold on us. We go on Instagram for attention, but sometimes people have a different purpose. When I started out, I wanted people to see me, but now I have something different in mind. People don't understand me, so I'm going to pass along my message to the world about what we should really be like because when it comes down to it, we fail to see that attention can be better when you get it in person. Yet, my story didn't work that way. I was payed attention to, but not for long. All I can ask is, what did I do? I want people to understand me and I want to make the world a better place one post at a time. My break is finally over and I'm ready to continue my fight for a better world and a better understanding of everything. And for that attention will be needed, but I don't ask for it, I receive it as a gift from all of you.
