This year has been a challenging year. Despite being in a wondeful place in my life both in my career and in family life I have not been feeling my best both physically and mentally. .
It has brought me here to focus on the things I can control like healthy eating, exercise and self care. And to devote my time and energy into family, the friends with whom I have genuine connections and activities that bring joy into mine and their lives. .
I love this photo I took of my neice in her boots. She loves these boots that I bought her and she wears them everywhere. It just reminds me to not save things just for special occasions, if you love the boots, wear the boots.
The response i get from my pups when i tell them no more play time and i gotta get my self ready for work tomorrow.... Up early to get my workout in (I no longer break those promises I made to myself and to my team who keep me accountable) and then to take care of him, all before the start of a 12 hour daytime shift. .
You’ll make the time if you want something bad enough!
Managed to drag my butt to the hospital 🏥 today after a couple days off 😷 🤒 to help others more sick than me!
Cancelling 2 of my shifts could have been stressful 🤪 for this casual nurse, but it wasn’t !! So Grateful for another source of income that pays 💰 me 5 times a month!
When you had a long and stressful day at work and you haven't done your workout yet.
Well I could of more all the excuses in the world not to do it that would of be the old me.
The now me just come home and get into workout gear and presses play and it only for 25 mins. And that time goes so quick you don't realise you have done it apart from being hot and sweaty
And get great that I can do it home then I can have a bath after and I don't have to go out in the cold

So I finally got around to trying the t20 sample workout that released this week 🤩 Wow I think sums up that, kinda speechless !!
I can’t believe how much difference having a step makes my thighs were burning 🔥🔥🔥 This workout is no joke, but what do you expect from our man Shaun T. Don’t be confusing this step with some aerobics step class from the 80s this is so much more.
EVEN a more excited for the rest of the workouts to be released in Jan 🧡 What an epic start to the year this will be !!! 🎉👍🏻👌🏻
I think I am going to swap one of my workouts each week this is sample workout. That way I get used to using the step - some of the exercises had me nervous of falling over flat on my face 😂🙈
