Our second walking tour, and probably the best free tour I've ever been on, was the @freetoursbyfoot WW2 tour. It focused on the blitz, how Saint Paul's was saved, and the rebuilding of London. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining! Definitely recommend this tour to any history fans visiting London!
Loved the atmosphere at Cafe del Doge in the evening...sitting here with a drink, watching the world go by and listening to these guys play was an amazing experience...the lovely lovely waiter had the musicians continue playing and look at me so I could get a good shot - love the Venetian people...
After spending 5 1/2 months living in converted vans 🚐 and traveling around the west this year, I realized that health was an integral part of me enjoying my travels. I learned this the hard way at times. With countless hours on the road, my knees, hips and posture took a hit. Without a full-sized kitchen, I sometimes compromised the diversity and freshness of my meals. These were the times when I felt emotionally fragile and unable to fully enjoy or maximize the adventures open to me. .
I was prone to injury, anxiety and poor sleep☠️. The things that tend to crop up when one isn’t fully present with the needs of their body and mind.
Somewhere along the route, I began taking a much more proactive stance with fitness and nutrition. I sought out farmers markets and found crafty ways to store produce. I began doing bodyweight exercises multiple times a day and even rolled out a yoga mat INSIDE the van #namastayinside 🧘🏼♀️
As my body became healthier and stronger, my outdoor adventures became more abundant and adventurous. .
This laid the foundation to my mission: Simple Health Big Life 💚💙💛
When we take care of ourselves, we’re able to explore, adventure and really LIVE life. We get outside🌤, we run up mountains 🏔 , we paddle turquoise waters 🌊, we laugh deeply within the forest🌲, and we breath air that tickles every inch of our lungs💨.
IMO, the purpose of life is not to be healthy, the purpose of health is to live life. It is a vehicle for getting out there, wherever “there” is for you.
Who’s with me in this adventurously healthy mission? 🙋🏼♀️🌟 #simplehealthbiglife#basecampbliss

Happy Tuesday! 🌿
Who here loves yoga? My past few weeks have been pretty stressful and it started to become too much for me. Yoga has been the biggest help in calming me down and centering myself to focus on all the wonderful things I have to be grateful for in my life. I lost touch with yoga but my passion was sparked again on my @pangeadreams retreat where I remembered what an amazing and healing practice it is. Along with yoga, we also did a daily gratitude practice during the retreat which I have continued do and has been so amazingly helpful during the past few weeks to help keep me grounded in positive thoughts! I have so much to be grateful for but today I want to thank @pangeadreams for helping me reconnect to these amazing practices which have been so incredible to add to my daily life. 💕
What helps you through stressful times? Yoga, mediation, gratitude? Let me know below! 😊

🏰✨Fairy tale castle in the sky💜 The stunning Lichtenstein castle in Reutlingen has an altitude of 817 meters and about 250 meters above the Echaz river. Its located on an escarpment that marks the northwestern edge of the Swabian Jura. A great destination for a weekend trip❣️📸 by @_temponaut_
💜No winter❄️ lasts forever, no spring skips its turn❣️😉I enjoyed the last snowy days visiting the beautiful Bruchsal Palace, constructed 1720 as a residence for the Prince Bishops of Speyer💜 📸by @_temponaut_
