Sunrises from the only orange house around! .
Slept in a cave house, awoke to caldera views and balcony breakfasted while watching the sun rise on whitewashed Oia...We crept from balcony to balcony loosing ourselves among the stairs...Ran the spine of the island from village to village and back, and sailed the caldera waters...Dined on saganaki, fava, lamb, goat cheese, and frequented the local bakery for spanakopita, fresh bread, and baklava. Followed all that with crepes and one long coffee after another....With THE Santorini sunset spot just out our door, it’s safe to say we waltzed around like we owned the place—Though of course just tourists in a 100% tourist town. 😆

I hope you get some things done today, dear mamas!💪👐
It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, what truly counts is how many get back up 🌟
To everyone having a bad day, week or time in general, know that you are not alone. I’m sure you already read that a million of times but it’s true: it’s gonna fine. Don’t give up!
Ironically, I'm not in Paris... Behind me, is St Paul's with the name dedicated to Paul the Apostle. The church dates back to the year AD 604. 6 years ago, I was here for the first time seeing this view and 6 years on, it is still as surreal as ever ❤
Let's not forget the London skyline at the background too!
We got here too late and missed the sun! It was 4.30pm 😭 Yup, the days are getting shorter as winter approaches.
Simply posting this photo because it resembles pure joy to me. Sun shining, clear blue sky, feeling tired but truly happy. About to head off onto an adventure, bringing only a purse and the same old backpack I bought in Canada years ago. 🎒
Today was a working day without any planes involved. Guess what I brought along though... 😉
I would argue that there are few places as magical as Europe at Christmas time...💫
Cobblestone streets, mulled wine, Christmas markets, and artisanal food and crafts are just a few of the reasons why 🍷
That being said, some areas of Europe tend to get a little more attention than others...
If you’re looking for some holiday destination inspiration, outside the typical go-to’s, head over to the link in my bio to check out why a trip to the Baltics should make your travel wish list this holiday season🎄❄️
Have you ever been to the Baltics?
Dreaming of the quaint canals in Amsterdam. I could have walked around this city for hours, come to think of it I did! Grab a cup of coffee and head out to explore. This is one of those cities you don’t really have to have a plan to enjoy. You can cafe hop, do a little shopping, grab a bite to eat outside and enjoy. I love not having to plan anything! What are some other cities you’ve been to like this? •

Last pic of #PoonHill , I promise! Can't help it ... it is one of the highlights of my trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area .
Have you been to Poon Hill?
🌎 #TravelTip : A headlight is a must to hike Poon Hill at 4.30am as it would still be dark
You will also need this light to navigate at guesthouses as the light switches are usually not next to the bed as well as for those days when you had to hike after sundown which is at 5.30pm in winter ❤ @travelistajen
Always wanted to visit Russia 🇷🇺? There’s a very detailed post up on the blog today, all about my favorite places to see and favorite things to do in Moscow 🌆Did you know that as of last year, you don’t need a visa to visit Russia on a South African passport! PS this is the last photo with the balloons, I promise 😂
When something isn’t exactly as you imagined | New Delhi had a lot of surprises for us, plenty of culture shock, and in some ways didn’t feel like the “India” I had been dreaming about, but once we arrived at Humayun’s Tomb I finally felt like I was in India. Dreamy buildings, lush parks, and even some quiet. Pure bliss.
No doubt we’ll end up back in Delhi at some point and hopefully I’ll be better equipped to deal with the crowds and the madness.
Check out Connel’s blog post on our time in New Delhi and his thoughts on that crazy city.
Here I am, looking at my birth certificate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Imagining how that day went down, hearing my mothers voice telling about it in my head. I’ve had some ideas of my future when I was younger. But to be honest, nothing went the way I imagined. But here I am, being grateful AF about how my life is unfolding and SUPER excited to apply for our visas 🙏🏽☕️🌸
The thin line between me and you. 🐶
My place after the summer is as charming and peaceful as always.
My heart is filled and I thank my myself for having kept friends and family around and closer than close.

How many friends give you a sense of joy?👱🏼♀️
Recently, I realized that after meeting with "friends" I have no energy at all😴
It’s very important to realize this and limit communication! While you spend time on those with whom communication doesn’t bring joy, you lose the opportunity to meet with those who will be of interest to you!
