Reposting this old sharpie sesh. Cuz fuck, I loved the hell out of “Into the Spider-Verse”. So much to love in this movie. The visuals, the characters, the music. Fucking shout-out to the artists behind the soundtrack. That hip-hop sensibility had me bumpin my head at different parts of the movie. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time I was in the theatre. Truly was a love-letter to fans of Spidey (through all mediums), and comics in general. I mean the movie starts off with an “approved by the comics code” stamp!! I especially appreciated that while there’s SO MUCH going on, and all these different Spidey’s running around, the story was still squarely built around Miles Morales. I wanna see more big-screen adventures with him, or even see him translate into the MCU. End of the day, the movie hammered down the idea of Spider-Man truly being the Everyman of the Marvel Comics Universe; the most identifiable and relatable hero. No matter who’s behind the mask, whether it be Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, or a goddamn pig.... Any one of us can be a Spider-Man. 🕷🙏🏽💪🏽.
Palm reading study last night! Finally found a book truly geared to beginners that flows in a logical order and lays out steps to do a reading. I’m surprised at how hard it was to find a simplified book! Palm Reading: A Handy Guide. It’s the bees knees!
Doodling to warm up a bit...nothing special, just whatever came out. Like it says on the paper, sometimes making sense isn't the point. It's something I'm still learning - allowing myself to put pen on paper and create without a specific purpose.
