Note to self...Head colds and handstand walks don't mix😳😪😂...The sinus pressure was crazy, so it was slow moving...then 6x10 walking lunges w/70# dumbells wasn't a treat either. Was pretty excited when I put this pics side by side. Left picture is from July after my last cut with @rpstrength weighing in at 210. The right picture is current at 223. Being over weight most of my life when I saw the scale go up it scared me but this reassured what I’ve been doing is working. Much more muscle packed on and still keeping it relatively lean for my standards. Strength is better than ever in my life as well. I’ve seen all lifts increase, and cardio is also better. Hard work pays off.

When?
Use this cue if the athlete is having a problem finishing their pull on the clean or the snatch.

How?
Compare the bar path along the body to that of a runway. A plane needs the entire length of the runway in order to take off with full power.

Why?
Not finishing the pull leaves “power on the table” and may send the trajectory of the bar path out in front of the athlete.

The metcon took forever but I did not give up thanks to my squad. Met with the hip specialist today and said mobility has improved quite a bit in just 2 months. PT and @romwod is paying off. Pain is improving as well. However said the arthritis in both hips look of that as someone in their 70s or 80s which wasn’t great to hear. Not letting that slow me up and going to continue pushing myself in doing what I can. When the time comes for replacements we will do what we have to do, hopefully not for a long time to come. In the meantime I’ll just keep walking around like this 😎
