Always grateful for moments that I get to hold hands with @johnyricky on our dream destinations. You bet this is one of my favorites out of all those moments. ✨

Still amazed at the structure and design of these beautiful creations. Cannot fathom seeing them when they were first created. The more we explore different perspectives, the more beauty there is to be found! #seetheworld
Southbound: Visual Tales from The Jordan Trail
The south part of the Jordan Trail, in my opinion, include the best sections of this 650km long footpath across the country.
Once you start heading south from Dana all the way to Aqaba by the Red Sea, it becomes clear -with every step you take- that the uniqueness and diversity of the landscapes cannot be denied.
The Jordan Trail Association has recently opened up the registration for their next special edition thru-hike which will be reversed (starting from the South heading up to the north of the country) and will take place in spring 2019.
BOOK your place now so you won’t miss out on such an incrideble experience... for more details, check out their page linked below. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

“When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him. In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”
Perspective hits you hard in Petra. Woof.
Traveling to foreign places can be difficult, it was for this trip. All together I’ve been on a total of 6 different flights varying from 1 to 11 hours long. Long layovers (14 hours in Switzerland). Getting hassled at EVERY airport security checkpoint for my camera & scuba gear. Uncomfortable car rides between far away cities and minimal sleep to maximize our heavy itinerary. But you know what? It was worth it. Every new face I met, each new flavor my tongue touched, and all of the places I may see only once in my lifetime make it worth it every time 🙂
The photo everyone comes to get! A clear, people free shot of The Treasury at #Petra One of the 7 New Wonders of the World, The Treasury is just one tiny part of this huge site. It’s simply stunning! There are many view points, some better than others. Due to my broken toe I was unable to hike with the rest of the group up a pretty difficult incline to get the famous ariel shot. However, I was taken by a local to a lower ledge which turned out to be amazing. No people whatsoever and I am really happy with the photo. :-) #flashpack#jordan#thetreasury

When I return to India yearly for my personal pilgrimage and work, there is always this sigh of relief when the cold crisp waters of the Ganges, or Ganga Devi touches my hand and then feet.
Similarly, I have specific prayers I’m always working on and connecting to her with, but this year I added something new... a struggle I’ve been banging up against for probably a lifetime.
Stepping into my full power.
I’m afraid of it. I’m concerned by its might and the full responsibility that comes with harnessing it ethically and compassionately, free of self indulgence and self glorification as often can accompany these things if no vigilant.
I’m afraid to make someone else feel small because, who the hell am I? Which is why I love rolls that support other growing and discovering their full light; and embracing it.
But here is one of my edges, and I prayed to not be afraid of my full powerful and to embrace it for the Divine, as the Divine intended me to express it..
So here we go...😬
My own work is never done, and I hope to support you on yours.💖
"We live in a society, and an epoch, where we do not have time to think any longer. We live in a time when taking a step back and a deep breath have become a luxury that many cannot afford" - Frank Barat
The ancient city of Petra far exceeds any dreams or expectations. Even with having read about and seen so many photos of this place, nothing can prepare you for simply how magnificent and awe-inspiring this place is. To think that this entire city was carved by hand out of solid stone strikes you with a sort of reverend-awe as you wander around exploring the ancient city
