We recently visited the Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew restaurant, to check out this Michelin star winning branch.
The highlights were
This beautiful platter of marinated meats Teochew style, including duck tongues, duck liver, duck gizzard and pig ears. 🍝
Swipe to see the thick noodles Teochew style: gorgeously flavoured with minced pork 😋
Sautéed Mushrooms with Crostini & Truffle Fries ✨ | The combination of the variety of sautéed mushrooms - shimeiji, shiitake and button, on the crunchy crostini made for a yummy appetizer but the truffle fries (looking unassuming in the background) was heavenly! Just thinking of the truffle oil infused crispy golden fries 😍👅💦

MAD ABOUT SALMON - used to binge on sashimi in the past on a monthly basis, but I’ve been making conscious effort to cut down on raw food (my fiancé can verify!) 😆 The last time I had raw fish was at my bff’s hens night! I’m keeping it up well yes?
Feels kinda weird to see braised meat rice separated two ways: the meat and the rice, but it was certainly a first for me at Mister Wu with Mr Su's Braised Pork Rice ($8). It's nothing like the familiar Taiwanese 滷肉饭 but rather feels a bit like a mini zichar dish.
I really like the braised pork - mostly lean with hints of gelatinous, melty fats. I can only wish there was more meat though. As for the rice, the sauce is pretty stinged on, though I can add some from the meat. The egg is an ajitama egg with its slight runny yolk and jelly-like texture, which I find to be a nice touch to the dish.
Had an amazing dinner @littleislandbrew
I guess the stars of the show are the many brews they have on offer - I will be back!
Dinner was the most tender beef brisket, the crunchiest roast pork belly and the juiciest popcorn chicken. Yum yum yum.
Sat outside in the beer garden transported me to Summer in UK feeling - I know where I’ll be going if I feel homesick.
And for a palate cleanser we hopped over to another eatery for mutton and chicken satay 😋
Out in the sticks but well worth the drive #changivillage#sgeats#littleislandbrewingco#singaporelife#sgblog#expatmum#exploresingaporeeats
Finally checked @hansimglueck_singapore off my foodie list - Would totally come back for their onion rings and salads again!! They were so generous with the salad portions that I couldn’t even finish my greens. I also love how this place is vegetarian and vegan friendly~ 😍🌿 #Hansimglueck

Something more simple, and different today - supermarket sushi for dinner! 😊 As much as I adore my hawker fare, when I’m still feeling under the weather, and want to curl up in bed after the sun has set, this is a great compromise without needing to live off instant noodles 😅 Probably need to save a part of this for supper, but can you blame me for overbuying when the salmon sashimi was calling out sooooo enticingly? 😭
