So I’ve joined a swimming group but my wetsuit has given me shocking chaffing around my neck.
I needed a rash shirt with a turtleneck but I couldn’t find any rashie Patterns with a high neck and all the turtleneck top patterns I could find were pretty expensive.
So I decided to just use the free kids 5K top Pattern by @elliedactyl and modify the neckband.
#It ’s not the prettiest rash shirt but no one will be looking at it (under a wetsuit) and fx it’ll protect my neck enough that I no longer get chaffing

@little_pickers2 has started to create all of these wonderful beanies for the @mcgrathfoundation! This month is Breast Care Awareness month and when Christina has visited her mum at the Holman clinic in Launceston they had a beanie donation basket. They only had a small amount of beanies there, so Christina has vowed to make as many beanies as possible for the cancer patients. Read her full story on our #sewitwithsinger blog. You can also head to the Australian Sewing Advice and Inspiration Facebook page to join the sew along and contribute to this great cause. #thinkpink#beanies#pinkitup#breastcareawareness#mcgrathfoundation#chemosupport#sewalong
I’ve had this idea in my head to make a skirt with a removable pocket... but then I was forced into bed for a week with a horrid virus... that was until today when my sewjo returned 😁
So I grabbed the last of my gorgeous @lushfabricsaustralia mustard floral DBP and some funky black dots and I got to worked.
Hmm what do you think? Should I do a how to blog post?
