Lately I’ve been making my To-Do list a leeetle longer than I should. But it’s the season, right? And as somebody who adores making things by hand, I find ideas stumble over themselves in an effort to GET ON THAT LIST! This past weekend several things made me realize what I was doing to myself and I wanted to turn things around. Over on the blog I posted, “Seven Ways I Deal with Overwhelm Before it Deals with Me (Or, ‘Nobody Cares, Grandma!’)” If you find yourself in the same boat, you might want to take a read (link in bio).
Got this pic from @delanie.bartell who got a job at the @sarasotamedievalfair and needed a few things to go with her corsets. She came over and we dug through the bins found a few things. This one is a blue point skirt. This is her and her beautiful mom. She got a different skirt and blouse to go with another corset too. Can’t wait to see that one. And thanks @ajehmann.hisandherssalon for the referral 💖. #sewingstudio#happycustomers#artbusiness
I am always behind. It’s the nature of my #customsewing business. We rearranged our basement shelves and put the ping pong table in there so I can use the table to pin my #quilts and #savemyknees a bit. The shelves contain bins of clothes for #memory quilts as well as fabrics to be washed and a box of 18” pillow forms from @pillowcubes Now back to work! #sewing#quilt#sewingstudio
