Definitely experienced some post-vacation blues, today... 🙍🏻♀️
The energy and warm hospitality is something I desperately miss about Prescott, and I think it is one of the big reasons why I love Joshua Tree & Yucca Valley so much. Almost everyone we interacted with on our trip were SO kind and good natured, and it reminded me of my hometown. 🧡
I don’t see myself moving back to Prescott any time soon, but Nico and I are definitely dancing around with the idea of a move to Yucca Valley/Joshua tree in our future. ✨
If you could pick up and move away, where would you go?
It’s easy to get caught up in life’s small dramas. ☠️ It happens to everyone - in big cities and small towns. Taking a step back and giving gratitude where it belongs will change your perspective and IT IS WORTH IT. 🙏 Take 5 minutes a day. Let go of the insignificant issues, let go of someone else’s drama, think of what you’re thankful for, and go conquer your life! 💪
Glittering through the trees the sun beckons. Nourishing, warming, soft rays drape the leaves.
Soft earth under my feet, magic unfolding. Rooting down and rising up, leaves and branches unfurling.
Soft whispers surround me, rustling, nudging, cocooning me with their wisdom. I’m changing, with every word.
Rising, growing, light expanding from within. I’ve found myself at every turn, the peace, the light, my purpose. Surrendering to the Earth and the connection to my soul.

Recently I set some goals for the next 3️⃣ years on what I want life to look like 😳 one of those goals was to be living in Bali in 3️⃣ years. Interesting that Bali is in front of me so often now from FB, to magazines & connections with associates. I believe when you put something out there, you are clear, you set your intentions & work towards achieving that goal everyday the universe will deliver. Yes you have to do the work but wouldn’t you want to if you knew that ultimately you were going to achieve what you want in life 💗

Mornings are my favorite. Setting my intentions for the day, listing what I’m grateful for, my superfood pudding, my pre workout, and mostly my morning sweat session.
It wasn’t easy making these morning habits. It took many many months.
What do you do in the mornings to set your day up for success?
Lots of new faces around here, so I figured I would re-introduce myself...
My name is Kasee (like k.c.)
I’m a desert dwelling, 27 year old gal with a passion for the well-being and alignment of mind, body, and spirit.

While I have been a Barista for 6 year (and absolutely love it ☕️💗), I am also a health and wellness coach on the side, offering guidance and tools to form healthy nutritional & fitness habits! (DM me if you’re interested in the details! 😘)
I am very excited for the chapter of my life I am stepping into and how my journey of wellbeing and personal development has revealed just how much I love helping others. The calling in my heart is SO BIG that I will actually be starting school this fall, for a diploma in hypnotherapy, reiki healing, and intuitive life coaching.
I CANNOT WAIT! 🎉
Thank you for following along in my journey. I’d honestly love to connect with you more in the comments below, so feel free to tell me about yourself! 🧡
Consuming information to increase knowledge is something we are accustomed to doing on a daily basis, whether it's reading a book, watching a film, browsing the internet and so on. But how often do we actually implement this acquired information into a more practical application? Seeking wisdom is a lifelong process that involves a lot of blood, sweat and tears. It a harmonious connection of the mind and spirit that helps us navigate through life in a much more meaningful way.
What are the ways in which you translate knowledge into wisdom?
Trust is an area we all can fall short on. How often do you second guess yourself? A lot right?!? Trust that whatever is happening in your life right now is happening FOR you not TO you and grow through what you go through.
Rereading my journal from last year and found these #abrahamhicks quotes that resonated with me this evening:
You did not come to fix a broken world; it does not need repair. You came to the world to create.
Every person on earth is your partner and co-creator.
Unwanted things cannot jump into your life uninvited - you must invite them. You make whatever you give your attention to your truth.
No one can help guide you - only YOU known the right answers for you. The Universe works easily without a middle man - make your own choices.
And the most important...
The greatest gift to give is your own happiness.
I had a bit of an epiphany this morning as my kids were playing Elefun. Anyone know this game? It’s adorable to watch. Basically, little butterflies shoot out of the elephant’s trunk and the kids try to catch as many as they can in their net.
My oldest has been playing this game for a couple of years now. When he was younger he wouldn’t catch any. He would wait for them to pop out and chase after each and every one, but he was always too late. He’d get frustrated and it never ended well. Now that he’s older and much wiser 😉, he’s figured out that if he’s patient, steady, and sets his sights on specific ones, he will be much more successful.
Isn’t this just like life? There are opportunities, obligations, and other things being thrown at you from every direction. In order to be successful, set your sights on a few, stay focused, and crush it. Happy Wednesday 😍
Last morning, waking up in Joshua Tree. We are incredibly thankful for this trip and all of the magical memories we now get to take home with us.
The amount of clarity and peace I have gained while on this vacation has been just what has been needed, and I am so grateful that The Universe is always working for me and my journey.
I had the amazing opportunity to visit @benzigerwinery yesterday and do their wonderful tribute tour. The vineyard is biodynamic which means that they don’t use a single chemical and everything is farmed using nature. The landscape was amazing, they had olive trees, fig trees, palm trees, roses and much more amongst the grape vines. They recycle water and use it to irrigate the entire vineyard. This amazing way of farming truly inspired me as it showed it can be done and you can live in complete harmony with Mother Nature. This really was one of the highlights on this trip and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to visit. Plus the wine was really good. We definitely left feeling inspired. Thank you #benzigerfamilywinery
From my meditation this morning 😌 I am using @headspace more regularly now, as I am noticing how great the benefits are, slowly but surely, especially with regular practice... 💗
There is indeed nothing complicated or mystical about awareness! 🙅♀️
Simply noticing how we are feeling and what we are thinking, noting it and not necessarily engaging with it can be so beneficial. It can help us to focus, to draw strength and to feel at ease and ready to take on the day 💪🏻
I have started using this @frompaperchase gratitude journal too in the mornings, and then reviewing it the next day. It really is amazing how much we all have to be grateful for in our day to day lives 🙏
And I started my day with a new smoothie! Berry blast from the freezer courtesy of @marksandspencer - it’s a yes from me! I didn’t have the apple juice it sugggested blending the fruit with, but water worked well 👌
🌓 First Quarter Moon. 17 Oct 2018. Yang energy.
I love setting goals according to the moon phases. In this yang energy phase, continue to
- take inspired action - work on your intention you set during the new moon - if you face setbacks, don't give up. Power through them and you will come out the other side fine. - give your 100% focus and commitment to whatever you intend to manifest.
The hermit | to travel within self. Most of us may be under the impression that this means to take reprieve, but for those who make this quest frequently know it to be the opposite. We live in such an outwardly expressed world that going dark & quiet, journeying into reflection and finding answers is a place filled with challenges - for those who are truly doing the work. I have journeyed this passage many times and still find it difficult - filled with emotions I don’t know I will face, asking for insight and being strong enough to nudge away at the stone wall that is self - ego - disguise - society - [place anything here that slows us down from enlightenment]. I still find it uncomfortable to sit and work in the dark, as I fear many things - mostly, I fear of the loss of letting go of those I love around me that may not journey - that I will no longer be able to have meaningful conversations and connections with on this plane. It is a quiet place, that is uncomfortable due to the busyness that surrounds us and the conditioned lifestyle we were raised in. Try to sit with yourself - and not go stir crazy or think about what is on your to do list #justbe . See if you can make it thru 1 day of being quiet, still and journeying. Letting go of my conditioned upbringing has been my biggest struggle, but away I go - on another journey to work on being comfortable with quiet and not judge myself for the quiet. I do this for self and to be the light for those who need a helping hand. #mindfulness#hermit#highervibrations#shamanicjourney#self#setyourintention#meditation
Each of us has a spark of life inside us, and our highest endeavor ought to be to set off that spark in one another. — Kenny Ausubel
Each time we teach, one of our intentions is to spark our students inner lights so that they can do the same for others. ✨
Mesmerised by nature. Watching birds and sitting in nature is one of my favourite things to do. Yesterday was spent listening to hummingbirds, a kingfisher, and woodpeckers, all whilst watching turkey vultures soaring in the sky. This is my happy place, being immersed by what the earth has to offer. No noise, no craziness just being. Feeling grateful and blessed.
Happy Tuesday all!
For me, it's 7:15 and there are no other beings awakening in my house!
That's unheard of.
So I'm soaking in some quiet with my mutt, a journal and some good intentions. Today is going to kick some ass.
Seize it! 💞💞💪💞💞
