My husband and I met in November 2010. I'd arrived at a local bar with coworkers and had planned to meet up with some friends, as well. He happened to arrive with said friends. It was a truly God-orchestrated encounter! ➡️ #linkinbio

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ROMANS 8:1-2
❤❤WRITTEN IN RED❤❤JESUS
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.” Luke 4:18-19 TPT
Sin doesn’t have as much power as the Son. Don’t give the same qualities to sin as the Son.
Sin doesn’t have resurrection power, the Son does.
Sin doesn’t have authority over you, the Son does.
Sin didn’t die for you, the Son did.
Sin doesn’t care about you, the Son does.
You weren’t set free to sin you were set free to live surrendered to the Son.
Jangan kuatir hidupmu,
Burung diudara aja Tuhan pelihara apalagi kamu :)
The power of love is the greatest power in the universe.
It's beyond defeat.
It never fails (1 Cor. 13:8). The Bible says God is love. So when you release love into a situation, you have released God into it.
Think about that! When you start releasing love into a situation, Jesus becomes responsible for its success.
What is this love I'm talking about?
First Corinthians 13 tells us it's patient and kind. It's not jealous or haughty or conceited or rude. It doesn't insist on its own way. It's not touchy or resentful and it pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
Love rejoices when right and truth prevail and it bears up under anything and everything that comes.
It's ever ready to believe the best of every person.
Its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything without weakening (The Amplified Bible). The person who refuses to love is missing out on the very best God has to offer.
Don't you miss out on any of it. Release love every moment into every situation, every prayer and every thought until it totally consumes your life.
It will strengthen you and cast out every fear that has robbed you of God's greater blessings.
It will drive the devil out of your affairs and set you free from every torment of darkness.
Put love to work on the stubborn problems in your life. It's the one solution they'll never be able to resist. ~Rick Warren~
Yall I have been reading the bible, reading articles about peacemaking. And believe me when I tell you that I have always been a firecracker/tellyoulikeitis kind of person. I dont sugar coat anything. I was raised that way, to follow God, to listen to my heart and to always stand for what's right. I think that at some point or another, everyone has a moment when they have enough with someone or something and they just snap. No I dont believe I'm always right. But I do believe that everyone is still growing and maturing. We are never truly done with growing until we meet our creator. Everyone falls short in their behavior sometimes. But its what happens after you behave poorly that matters. You can either be a peacemaker or hold a grudge against someone for their actions. Which in turn only eats at your soul and makes a person bitter. My personal choice is to walk with the creator and get on the love/forgiveness train. It feels good to let all of the craziness go and to actually laugh until it hurts. To detox myself with scripture. The way I handle life, is to be on the same page with God. Have I strayed from his plan? Yes! Many times. But his word keeps pulling me back. His love is infectious.
"Peace is not just about the absence of conflict; it’s also about the presence of
justice. Martin Luther King Jr. even distinguished between “the devil’s peace” and God’s true peace. A counterfeit peace exists when people are pacified or distracted or so beat up and tired of fighting that all seems calm. But true peace does not exist until there is justice, restoration, forgiveness.
Peacemaking doesn’t mean passivity. It is the act of interrupting injustice without mirroring injustice, the act of disarming evil without destroying the evildoer, the act of finding a third way that is neither fight nor flight but the careful, arduous pursuit of reconciliation and justice. It is about a revolution of love that is big enough to set both the oppressed and the oppressors free."

Condemnation Vs. Conviction
Condemnation is toxic to a believer’s conscience. Why? When received and believed, it will produce bad results. First, it will keep a Christian in a vicious cycle of defeat. It will invade your mind and tell you that you are not worthy of God’s forgiveness, that you cannot overcome sin or live the life of Christ. It will rob you of your joy, peace and liberty. It provides one with absolutely no hope of reconciliation or restoration. Condemnation comes from the devil! In fact, it is one of the greatest tools that he uses against Christians and he will even use other people to do his dirty work! Lastly and most importantly, condemnation does not serve as a as a true representation of God’s love towards us.
On the other hand, conviction when received and believed, will produce good or godly results! Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God will not only convince you of the need to (repent) change, he will also empower you to do what you cannot possibly do on your own. All of this, my friends, will enable us to live with a clear conscience. Always remember, in God’s mind and heart, there is no condemnation for you when you are in Christ Jesus! Let Romans 8:1-2 soak in.
8 1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn us but to save us! Through his death on the Cross, the Lord FREED US from sin and death. Now we belong to him! He loves us unconditionally and perfectly. Using this reality, we should reject all condemnation in it’s various forms and now live in the life of the Spirit.#jesus#cross#lord#holyspirit#love#nocondemnation#nocondemnationinchrist#powerofconviction#free#freedom#setfree#lawofsinanddeath
*If you think you're better than anyone, you're already on the wrong track
*If you cannot forgive yet expect forgiveness
*If you cannot bless those who curse you
*If you cannot love the ones that dispitefully use, dislike or even hate you
*If you cannot see past sin and see need
*If you cannot sit comfortably in the seats of compassion, love and mercy and instead prefer the seat of Judgment
*If you look down upon instead of lifting up
*If you cannot give freely without expectation of return
*If you are mean and have trouble being kindhearted
You are NO better than the those you feel you're better than.
True Christians know they are no better than anyone else regardless of how "righteous" they try to live. They know God is more concerned about heart conditions than living conditions 💛
Luke 6:32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
I think we greatly misunderstand the power of #grace
Grace continues to reach into the deepest corners of our hearts... the places no one else dares go... and beckons to us to come out into the light and be free.
If you’re reading this, then know that God has something for you... “The Lord sets prisoners free and heals blind eyes. He gives a helping hand to everyone who falls.” Psalm 146:7-8
The Lord is watching over you. He sees you when you fall and he gives you a helping hand to get you back on your feet. He knows when you’re a prisoner to anxiety or life’s circumstances and he wants to set you free. He knows when you’re not seeing clearly and tempted to go off course and he opens your eyes to the truth. He loves you and wants you to experience the life he came to give you. You matter to God, and you matter to us. Come hang out with our Journey family and find healing with us. We think that you belong here!
The greatest gift of all is love. It is so powerful. It heals. So love...love big...love fully...love the hardest...love the unloveable...love regardless...expecting nothing in return. ❤️
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Eating disorders can twist us inside so deeply that the levels of complexity mount up and up. This makes it incredibly difficult for people to first see what is actually going on and secondly begin to be able to help us.
This is why those who personally struggle themselves can be best placed to help others. Sharing similar issues builds connection; which can lead to freedom for both.
If this is something that you are personally battling with please reach out to us. You may well hold the keys to helping others out. #setfree
