Good morning ...after doing some meditation this morning...I saw this pic and caption. Who or what dirves you...who or what motivates you...who or what is the wind beneath your wings. It's amazing what thoughts and emotions a simple pic and caption like this can trigger. No matter how many times I look at this pic...it triggers different thoughts and emotions every time. #meditation#selfreflection#motivation#enduramce#guidance#powerofprayers

<✨I often try to remember who is walking beside me from the past when I am pushing hard to honor my sacred purpose. I am doing it for me, to be sure, but I also do it for those members of my familial and karmic family who were denied the opportunity to actualize their callings because of their circumstances and context. So many were denied the opportunities we have now. Some of them worked hard to build the egoic and structural foundation I stand upon. God bless their good intentions. I feel them close at heart, sitting on my shoulder as I write these words, breathing me onward. We are never alone on the trailways of transformation. We breathe purpose for them too.> ✨WORDS BY:: @jeffbrownsoulshaping | ⭕️

When you find your 'why', the 'how' doesn't matter as much. You know what drives you, and will try any which way to get there. So, find your why, and hold on to that. Don't chase money, success, popularity- those might come as a byproduct of following your why. .
Perseverance is a skill, that you build, strengthen and develop. It is not a talent that some are blessed with, rather it is like a muscle. To strengthen your muscle, you keep trying. You don't give up. Well, that's easier said than done!! .
Think of a time that you did not give up, that you kept going even though times were hard. What did you tell yourself that encouraged you not to give up? What resonates with you? .
When I was living in South Korea, it was extremely challenging to begin with. The kids I was teaching wouldn't listen, the language was so different and the Hangul script everywhere made it tough to understand anything...anywhere. I remember going into a restaurant (after being quite nervous to walk in alone) and the owners just shook their head, not wanting to serve me (they might not have spoken English). It was lonely and I remember contemplating leaving a number of times. What got me through was taking days one at a time, remembering my love of travel and learning about new cultures, and holding onto even one thing that went well that day. I would meditate before school, and tell myself just get through today. Then, I'd ask myself what is just one thing that was good. And repeat. The more days I got through, the more I believed I could get through more. Then my experience started to change, I met friends, learned the language, and embraced this new place, both the positive and negative aspects of the culture. Knowing my why made it possible to incorporate different how's into my experience, not just to get through but to thrive. Today, my Korean adventure is one of the highlights of my life. .
More than just an adventure, the fact that I got through it, and how I did continues to serve me. When I solo travelled since then, the skills I learned continue to be useful. How about you? How can you apply your perseverance and resilience from previous situations?
Currently enjoying some time away in Croatia. What a beautiful part of the world. Perfect for self reflecting and taking time to think about what’s really important in life. It’s been a difficult few months but looking forward to better times ahead. #croatia#selfreflection#bettertimes
In life we meet different people. I am privileged to have met different types of people. All age groups to different backgrounds. I feel privileged to have had conversations with these people.
I remember carrying babies whilst they were crying and these babies fell asleep at my back. So to give the stressed mom a little moment to breathe in and out. I did and do this during my journey of teaching babywearing. I didnt or do not work with a plan but my intuition.
I remember speaking to youth, like teenagers who are suffering from growing hormones and still could understand one another at the same level.
I remember speaking to single man and women. A man who may have thought because I gave him all my energy therefore interested in having an intimacy relationship with him. But only for him to realize I was just treating him the way I would treat myself or any other human being. I speak to moms and dads and grandparents. I have spoke to people who are trying hard to have children, but unfortunately not able. In the end they manage to move on with their lives.
I have spoke to some who jave lost their loved ones in different ways.
You can go on and on and on .....
Because of opening up to people without judging too quick. Without putting people in boxes and corners. Helps you not to think from a box.
Our first program BLOOSM was a success, giving girls an opportunity to explore themselves through conversations, dancing, notebook 📓 making, meditation, and writing ✍️ exercises for self-reflection.

Today’s #SoulfulSunday is a long one, but worth reading until the END! 🙏🏻
Yesterday, participants were asked to write a note to someone who had “threatened your sense of control. Consider what you want to say that you have never said to them.” In a quiet room participants wrote or typed their note. After 5 minutes, the next task was to take out their device that they use to text and compose and send “a gratitude text message: a message sharing a sentiment of gratitude for how their belief in you or support has allowed you to be more of who you are.”
Participants shared their notes and texts within the group. Several participants recognized they wrote to the same person and that they were sorting conflicting feelings and confused by the coexistence in the same moment of what appeared to be opposing emotion.
Today’s post inspires us to allow duality. To find and expand stillness at the same time there is movement or chaos. Our chaos can be literal and pragmatic: that frenzied pace in life. Our chaos can be emotional: the swirl of emotion of our unfinished business. Our chaos can be existential: the big deep questions around identity, purpose and meaning.
Lean in to your chaos anchored in stillness and you will keep evolving with a greater capacity for resilience, a deeper sense of resolve and purpose and a limitless capacity to love and be loved. Happy Sunday!
5 am July 22 2018. Being in the army on your shot day. I had to change my shot day to accommodate these three weeks out in the field. My mental health is doing great, staying and stood extremely positive, didn’t let my anxiety or my environment filled with toxic masculinity defeat me. But my body my body took a beating. My body and soul deflated. After today we are heading into recovery mood great timing. I feel beaten up I feel exhausted I feel weak I feel my hormones out of wack but everything will be okay. It’s just temporary not permanent.
How would you know your limits if you never tested going farther passed them?! #ftm#ftmfitness#ftmsoldier#ftmtransgender#armystrong#translivesmatter#transman#trans#willpower#resilience#recovery#selfreflection
