💚✨🚌So, from the 25th of May until last week I worked again, after two years of a heavy depression, working hard to get better, living on the road and a 3 months road- trip. 🚌✨I have to be proud of myself, even though I can not work now. Right? 🙉😵Staying positive is an importent thing, also for my body, especially now that my body is not working perfectly fine. 😟🙄So, I am doing my best! ✌🏼✨A very small potassium deficiency came from the blood result, but that will now be improved with our attempt at a vegan eating kind off style. 🍀💚But my complaints do not come through that according to the doctor.🙃 ...My ❤️beat stays on the high side so I also get extra tired (I think). 😴🌙For further research I have to go to an internist in the hospital. Unfortunately due to the summer holidays I can only go on August 3, not before.☀️😟 💚🙉Certain moments I can really enjoy the good outdoor life, but at many moments I am very tired, I feel weak, I feel pains through my body and I feel really bad.😔 Waiting until August 3 is hard for me.😵🙃 🌙🌲Maybe I can quietly make some jewelry and do some crochet and when I'm tired I have my bed close... But, camper life in the Dutch forest is still very good and it is nice and warm overhere. ☀️🚌✨ ☺️Ps: does anyone know how to create paragraphs in an insta post?😏✌🏼#vanbuslife#sunshine 🌞 #summertime#vandwellers#livingintheforest#vanlifestyle#vanlifediaries#nomadsstories#nomadgirl#nomads#travelblogger#forestlife 🌲🌳 #vaninterior#crocheting#sick#depressie#depression#homeoswhereweparkit#theworldisourplayground#dwellers#vanlife#selfbuildcamper#woodwork#candlelight
So, it's been a while since we last posted and the past few weeks have all been a bit of a rush with trying to get organised to leave etc. We've officially be living in the van for 2 weeks now and can say it's going pretty well so far but there's a steep learning curve with this. Here's some things we've discovered so far: 1. A small space is NOT easier to keep tidy. Our van seems to have the unique ability to go from spotless to outright inhospitable in minutes. 2. NEVER, EVER buy chemicals for your cassette toilet without properly reading the description. Incase anyone is interested, Thetford "tank freshener" is not for adding to the toilet cassette as we unfortunately found out 😷🤮. 3. Test your drawer catches with full drawers before setting off to prevent a van floor littered with the once contents of your drawers and cupboards. And finally 4. Bring enough underwear to last a few weeks instead of banking on your small 3kg washing machine and having the time to stop and dry them. Otherwise you could end up sitting parked up in Germany posting to Instagram in swimshorts because you're underwear reserves are flat broke. 😭😂 #sprinterconversion#vanconversion#sprintervanconversion#camperconversion#campervanconversion#selfbuildcamper#diycamper#homeiswhereyouparkit#vanlife#eurotrip
So to hang a mirror charm - one must have a rear view mirror
Which we don’t currently have as our #t5 was a panel van.
Also Phil has wired in a new BCM which means we need a sensor for automatic wipers and lights which requires see through glass.
So yesterday we spent some time sanding off the old plastic mirror mounting spot to make way for the new sensor and mirror base.
Little bit nerve wracking
Sorry for the lack of updates, hopefully I can do a proper tour of the ‘quick & dirty’ build soon! 2nd time out in the van and the first with our new £70 ikea sofa bed mattress. Still basically just a bed on wheels, lots more still to do! #microcamper#kangoocamper#kangoo#vanlife#selfbuildcamper
