There are so many things we would like to do. I don’t know about you but the minute I accomplish one, I already have something else on my list. Your birth sign, the way you think, how things affect you and why it does, your spirituality, your makeup the finest details about you and more God carefully thought it out. For when He created you he created you with reason and purpose because He has an assignment He wants you do for Him on this earth. So those things that bother you about yourself take it to Him in prayer and let him reveal the reason behind the why and if He doesn't reveal it just yet be patient to keep on seeking Him and contented in the way you were created because lets be real God didn't make a mistake when he created you to be you. .
As always He cares and wants to answer all your questions, fill all your void don't hesitate to go to Him with anything 🤗 .
▪️Jesus died a death He did not deserve so we could live in relationship with Him as our hope. And the resurrection of Jesus offers this not only by giving us eternal life and forgiveness of our sins but also by the renewing of our hearts and minds. (Romans 12:2) ▪️Let us look to the new covenant with great hope and expectation. Because now, we get to live as His children, ransomed and redeemed. Our God has defeated death, sin and evil for good, and we can live with that hope as our anchor and our truth! (Hebrews 8:6)
The “star”, which lies ahead of us leads us towards Christ’s Second Coming.
If we are wise, we will keep the Second Coming of the Lord at the forefront of our attention.
As the wise men were ready for Christ’s first coming, so we must be ready for His Second Coming.
This is emphasized in the parable of the wise and foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13). The wise are ready for the Coming of the Lord. The foolish are not ready for His Coming.
The wise men brought costly gifts to Jesus. This runs counter to the wisdom of this world. Worldly wisdom tells us to acquire riches rather than giving them away to Jesus. When we give ourselves to Jesus, the world may say, “What a waste!” The Word of God assures us that giving our time, talents and money to the Lord is never a waste. When, in joyful worship, we give ourselves to Jesus, He saves us from wasting our lives on things that can never satisfy. When faced with this question... up until 3 weeks ago I didn’t have an answer. I’ve been blessed to say the least in any aspect of my life but without a Why... the older you get the more lost you’ll become. Mine I found in the core of silence. If you roam aimlessly you’ll forever wander.... If don’t stand for anything you’ll fall for everything. The core of me is based on my salvation. My walk with God. The Holy Spirit filling me up, my heart and spirit. The physical how I treat others and also myself (character and self care) I’ve spent time in solitude, meditating, creating habits, daily routine.... I’d say mental falls in both categories. My mind has never limited me on believing I could succeed but due to fear I stood like a deer in head lights. You can not give yourself to the world without your cups being full. Though this transformation shows the physical side of the past 5 1/2 weeks it’s just the icing on the cake to finding my Why.
If you’re in a rut, simply looking for guidance my advice not only to give it to God but also step out and step up. Tune out of society and into YOU; aspects of your life that could use watering DO IT NOW, there is no guarantee of a tomorrow. I recently read a book called Atomic Habits By: James Clear I needed to find balance in mine. Almost 6 weeks in and the moments in my life are unreal. Plus a Mid day ab check 😜 just a bonus. Sometimes the pieces of our “old selves” we find scattered about are never intended to be put back together again. Restoration doesn’t necessarily mean we get to go back to what was, but instead we get to go back to Him. I often interchange the redemption of a situation with the restoration of a relationship - and please hear me friend, they are not one in the same. ⠀
Unfortunately, We have absolutely no say in whether or not a relationship is restored here on earth. Sure, we can pursue peace as much as possible, but we can never force someone to make things right with us - nor should we want to. And even though it might be painful when God doesn’t allow the restoration - even if just for a season - there is often more work to do. More healing, more forgiveness, more brokenness even. So no, the restoration isn’t up to us. ⠀
But the redemption is. Not because WE hold the power to redeem, but because we surrender to the God who graciously gives us a choice. We can wallow in our circumstance OR we can let go and allow Him to work in and through it to bring miraculous glory to Himself. What was once broken is made whole not in the restoration but in the choosing of redemption that floods us with hope. ⠀
Are you desperate for restoration today? Could it be that what you are really craving through the heartache is actually redemption? Choose God’s grace today. Choose His miracles and His glory over the hurt and pain you may be feeling. He is bigger, greater and mightier. Always.

I remember when this verse was at the forefront of my mind. .
2 of my brothers, quite literally, hated each other.
I wrote my oldest brother a letter quoting this scripture.
He wasn't happy & we wound up not speaking, for YEARS! .
I'm thankful that we're on speaking terms & are friends again & have been for years now.
The 2 brothers patched together a pseudo relationship but, I'm not sure that you'd call it love. I'm not sure what you'd call it.
Sadly, one of the brothers is now deceased & we can't talk to him, anymore. I miss him; his jokes; his craziness. .

My Grandma Linnea Brink Petersen and Grandpa Curtis started making us hand made gifts as long as I can remember. This Nativity set is one of my favorites. These are just a few of the pieces. She worked so hard, harder than I can imagine, after all she had a ton of grandkids and we all got something. She poured the ceramic, fired it in the kiln and painted each one. 🌿 Knowing the end of the story brought comfort to the nation. They could weather the storm because they knew restoration was coming. They experienced God's faithfulness, and their sadness turned to joy. Once again, they would be His people. (Jeremiah 30:22) 🌿 Like the suspense novels from my childhood, I'm grateful to know how the story ends. Despite judgment, He will restore His people. "… Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away" (Revelation 21:3-4). With this sure promise, we can rest assured throughout the twists and turns of life.

Some of us wonder if they done something that caused God to leave them, that is not true.
In Hebrews 13:5, God said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not any way leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down. He is committed to sticking with us and helping us work through our problems.
As our children grow and mature the parents want their children to love them because of who they are, not because of what they can do for them. We want our children to visit us because they enjoy being in our presence.
It's the same with God, He wants to bless us with all good things but when we only seek Him for the wrong reasons with the motive of just getting something from Him, it grieve Him.
If this happen we must look at our motive. Do we only seek Him when we need something from Him, or do you have a desire to truly know Him intimately all the time.
Let God know that you trust Him and desire to have His presence in your life. Seek Him with right motives. Amen!!
My husband and I were talking the other night about how we base our calendar year off of Christ. The entire world. Somehow the calendar year is based off of a man that lived and died so long ago. How many people do you think remember or know that little/simple fact? I had totally forgotten🙋🏼♀️ Such a simple yet important fact, don’t you think? BC. Before Christ. AC. After Christ(Edit: hahaha and because I wrote that at like 2am, that’s what I get for writing it wrong😆. What I meant to write was AD. A.D. stands for anno domini, which is Latin for “in the year of the lord,” and refers specifically to the birth of Jesus Christ). What are you doing to seek Him? .
“For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers. When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, I will make myself available to you,’ says the LORD.”
When you seek God and His living spirit in His word, you’re pursuing an intimacy with Him that can’t be expressed in any other way! Even when you don’t ‘feel’ like it bc you’re not as zealous as when you first got saved or the passion for revival seems so distant, pursue intimacy bc He still is. It’s time for us to begin to shift our hearts and minds on Who He Is. Not just coming to Him as our Heavenly Father, but as our Daddy who is just so crazy in love with YOU. Everything you thought you needed, you’ll find in Him. Everything you want and desire, you’ll find in Him. Everything you lack, you’ll find wholeness I’m yourself bc of Him! Complacency ends where intimacy begins! He speaks when you seek. So plain and so clear. ➕

▪️Sometimes, it may just not make sense & that’s okay y’all. If we cling to Christ and trust in His perfection, we will be able to rest in His perfect will — whether it’s our fleshly desire, or not. (Read below)
▪️For the Israelites, the news that they would be in captivity for 70 years was absolute reality. But the truth that God had a good plan and a purpose not to harm them but to give them a future and a hope — that promise was very much in process all the while they were in captivity.
▪️This is how we, too, can trust God in the midst of our longsuffering journeys: by having a higher perspective in our present realities.
▪️Let's cry out to Him in the midst of our suffering. Let's earnestly seek Him and ask Him to help us look at our circumstances through the lens of His love instead of a lens of disillusionment and disappointment. We are not forgotten or forsaken. And our longsuffering won't seem nearly as long or nearly as painful when we know God's perspective is to use every single second of our suffering for good.
