❗WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SEED CHOICES❓ COMMENT BELOW😀
✅ FACTS ON FACTS:
🌿 Just one teaspoon of tiny poppy seeds contains up to four percent of your recommended daily intake of phosphorous, calcium, and iron 🌿Sesame seeds contain up to 20% protein and lots of fiber. They are rich in the amino acids tryptophan and methionine🌿Next on are Hemp seeds ! They are an excellent source of heart-healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. They pack in 10 grams of easily digested protein into just 2 tablespoons 💪
👉 My personal favourite which I use very often in my porridge is GROUND FLAX SEEDS❤️ Regular flax seed intake offers different potential health benefits. A tablespoon of ground flax seeds, combined with other foods in a smoothie, can help provide for a healthy breakfast. Flax seed intake may treat diabetes, cardiovascular disease, menstrual breast pain, sensitive skin, joint pain, and reduce depression risk. Flax seeds are potential sources of melatonin. Due to their lignan content, flax seeds are associated with a risk reduction in both breast cancer and prostate cancer.
🌿 Pomegranate seeds have lots of fiber and 40% of your daily requirement of vitamin C. They also contain heart-healthy antioxidants called polyphenols, including: flavonoids, tannins, and anthocyanins.
🌿 FINALLY, chia seeds pack in 10 grams of fiber in a 2-tablespoon serving. They also contain proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and minerals like: iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc.

What. A. Week.
Sometimes this mom gig is simply the hardest job on earth. I have at least 3,000 new grey hairs and I am pretty much sick of fighting those hairs so don’t be surprised if I am completely grey by...next week.
If you are a work at home parent snow days are a serious crimp in your workflow 😂.
A new blog post has made it up though with links to some of my favorite seed companies and their beautiful catalogues that help me plan out what I’m going to plant this year...and keep my sanity through the Winter.
Lordy do I have big lofty plans for my patch of earth this Spring 🌱.
Would love to hear how others survive the #wahmlife other than working super late and getting up super early. I would love an app that helps me plan out my work/home life week better...suggestions are always welcome! There has to be one out there 😂
This has been my work station the last few days.
Last year was a huge learning experience for us and we are coming full force for this upcoming growing season!! Currently drawing out layouts for our food plots, greenhouse, butterfly gardens, bee mound, tea garden and searching for the seeds we want to grow! Its a little intimidating thinking about all of the expansion but also exciting in thinking of all of the rewards from our medicinal and edible landscape!! Extremely grateful to experience this growth and furthering our knowledge and experience ♡ #homestead#bakerscreek#seeds#homegrown#gardenlife#homesteadexpansion#garden#vegetable#growyourownfood#oklahomagrown#grownwithlove#krusemark
I am definitely no longer the girl who was obsessed with protein bars, macro friendly hacks, protein powders and went to the gym 6+ days per week. But that was me two years ago and i do not regret it because I was learning. i was learning that protein consumption isn’t everything, that the added chemicals/stuff in protein powders/bars were terrible for my digestion and that rest days were pertinent for muscle growth. Guess what? you are not perfect and neither am I. We are always learning and that’s what makes life so freaking rewarding. 😊
One thing that has not changed from two years ago is my love for proats! 😝 Oatmeal cooked with @elmhurst1925 almond milk (makes it so creamyyy), mixed in with flaxseed meal, @nuzest_usa chocolate protein and topped with nana, almond butter, pumpkin and sesame seeds 😋
