We’re doing our first commercial compost pickup at Gerardo’s Italian Kitchen today!
Gerardo came to us months ago and said he wanted to discuss our services because he is aiming to be a Gold certified restaurant with the Sustainability Alliance.
His son is studying sustainability at ASU and he’s had a major influence on the restaurant’s environmental responsibility.
They are one of the founding members of Straw Free Sedona 🤗 and have recently made several upgrades to their equipment and materials.
Here at Sedona Compost we’re extremely inspired by their willingness to step up and do the right thing. And, we thought all of you should know how awesome they are! 🙌🌎
Dammmn geee! Someone got their ass handed to them at work tonight. I guess I didn’t look at the schedule after the manager clearly said the schedule didn’t change. Guess who got a call at 430 saying I needed to come in...this ninja, lol!!! Oh well they love me at my job and even though I got my ass handed to me, it was still a very great night. I love being productive and kicking ass. I almost forgot about this Preroll I had gotten from the @growsciences crew from the @theerrlcup a few weeks back. #LemonHead . Time to get baked!! #SmokeEmIfYaGotEm#WooHoo#SedonaLiving#Boom#DiscoShit
We are thrilled to announce that the iconic @indiangardens is the first local restaurant to join the Sedona Compost Community. .
We are grateful to see one of the oldest, most loved businesses in Sedona setting an example for increasing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Join me in welcoming and thanking Indian Gardens for being local leaders and for being the newest members of the Sedona Compost Community!! 🙌♻️🌱🌎🏜🎉
I went and toured Camp Avalon in Sedona today. 👣
It’s a beautiful place on the creek and secluded so you can really connect to nature. They are still building and have yet to add showers. 🌳
Lots of possibilities for weekend camping, day outings and picnics. 🏕
The caretaker David was super friendly. 💁♂️ They have options for people who want to do work trade for a campsite. 🔩⚒ To check out their website, click the link below. 💻
I have lost count of the times I was told my idea, dream or goal would not work. Or that it be too hard.
Common phrases I hear daily... “You can’t do that.”
😳 “That will be too hard.”
😔 “Why would you want to do that?”
🙄 “Be careful. That could be overwhelming.”
🤯 “That is a big idea. Can you think of a smaller version of that?”
These comments and people used to bring me down. I even admit listening to them at times. 🗣
But I noticed when I followed my gut and moved forward anyway, they were wrong. What I had envisioned came true as my new reality. Just like in the fairytales. 🧚♀️ So I stopped listening to the naysayers. They only see one doorway, or possibility. And that’s okay. 🚪
In the world of Blissful Living, there is always a way. You just have to find the right door. 🚪🗝 It may be that only you carry that key. That is part of being a #BlissCatcher . 🤩
A Bliss Catcher trusts they know the right door to open. They have the key. They are willing and ready to lead the way. They even let the naysayers in once they wake up. Because we ALL deserve a life of bliss. 😇
Share a goal you reached that everyone told you was not possible in the comments. I LOVE hearing inspiring stories of what people have achieved! 👇
