A few nice definitions for today. There is more than one on this post because one definition links to the next. the arrows represent that a tissue makes up and organ which in turn makes up an organ system.
A student pointed to a roll of tissue on my desk and said that they don't see any of that in them when they get cut.... I assume you all have a better understanding than that, you may want to DM me if you don't!
I have nothing else to add to these definitions as they are rather self-explanatory. DM or Comment if you have any questions or suggestions about how to improve these posts!

Year 10 maths. Different levelled problems related to volume were placed on the board. Students individually selected one, solves in their workbook and wrote only their answer with their initials on the problem sheet. They then returned it to the board and selected another. If at anytime they found the answer they calculated differed to another answer on the problem sheet they were to seek out the other person and discuss who had the correct answer and why, as well as determining why they went wrong. #yearten#maths#mathematics#numeracy#engage#problemsolve#measurement#highschool#secondaryteacher#teacher#secondaryschool#volume

Younger children always ask “why?” and it is important that teachers encourage and embrace this inquisitive approach throughout education. Ramsey Musallam, a chemistry teacher, adopts this inquiry-based approach to learning. In the TED Talk “3 rules to sparking learning”, Musallam identifies the importance of curiosity in students. He argues that a teacher’s role is to confuse and perplex students in order to lead to questions and experiments. Following his own experiences, Musallam has developed 3 rules to maximise learning which are: 1. Curiosity comes first, 2. Adopt a trial and error approach and 3. Practice reflection.
