We want you to look and feel like the REAL you. You deserve to be represented properly- don’t sell yourself short with mediocre selfies while pursuing the career that you’ve been dreaming about.

Delivered these family photos as soon as I got back to Seattle yesterday because I just couldn't wait to work on them! How cute is Dottie with her stunning red hair?!
Ryan and I have enjoyed watching many of our friends begin their parenting journeys and capturing moments like this are even sweeter!
I met an amazing photographer @itsbaldooo who was also my no1 sales associate at the Hermes popup @nordstrom Seattle
He is one of the few that is hard working, honest, and genuine in retail sales. His photography has a monet and dreamy look...We took many shots for fun and not knowing I would be using a few photos for my second business kickstarting. Maybe one day I will share this with you...💕💕
It has been a hot minute since I've shared anything, but that's because Instagram will always take a back seat to bring present in the moment!
Travelling with beautiful friends to watch a dear sister get married took my full attention and I'm so glad it did! Seeing new places, trying some really fantastic coffee, laughing a little too hard at ridiculous things, and crying tears of joy and love truly filled my heart as high as it could be. Long distance and time in between makes each visit and hug that much sweeter, and I didn't take a single moment spent with my dear friends lightly.
It's taken me a little while to swing back into my routine being home, and I'm still getting there, but I'm excited to share more of my favorite moments from this summer. I'll always remember my sweet time in Hawaii earlier this summer, so I can't stop sharing from that trip quite yet!
Congratulations to S.R. Lane, whose photograph "Old Salty" won the People's Choice vote in the PNA Member & Volunteer Art Show at the Phinney Center Gallery! "Photography is my paintbrush. If I could paint or draw I would be busy creating non-stop. However, I presently lack the skills or patience to sit down and draw proper stick figures or a bowl of fruit. For now photography is my passion and medium. In the future who knows. I enjoy finding the unique images in day to day life. Typically I capture an image when I'm out on one of my daily walks. Always looking around, searching for that image that calls to me, grabs hold of my attention and won't let go." You can buy prints of S.R. Lane's work, including "Old Salty" at etsy.com/shop/SRlanephoto.

Love is hard to express through photography, especially when the couple tries to pose. That is why, the goal of any photographer is to make the couple feel comfortable and capture the sincere love they have for each other!☺️ ❤️
One of my big hangups prior to starting this photography account was that age-old fear that every creative experiences at some point: "I'm not good enough."
Nevermind the fact that "good enough" is highly subjective or the fact that no matter how much I improve, there will always be more work to do.
So it has taken a big perspective shift to finally be able to look at the images I create and say with full confidence that I love what I see, and that in spite of the work that lies ahead of me, I AM GOOD ENOUGH. Right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There's no doubt I have a long way to go and my true potential is still waiting to be discovered, but I am proud of the work that I do behind the camera and I'm no longer afraid to admit it.
Plus, I get all kinds of feels when I look at this shot, and at the end of the day, isn't that what creating art is all about? #believeittoseeit#confidenceispower#allthefeels
Most of you here following me probably don't know this about me, but I'm a photographer. 📸 I have been for the past 8 years! I don't really share any of my work here (well... I did start a purely work instagram @soniaprimeranophotography) mostly because there's still some blocks I'm moving through when it comes down to my worth and value as an artist finding her place in this world. 🌍 ⠀
I actually don't know where to begin or WHAT to begin sharing. Most of my life I've pretty much let my art/voice rest in the shadows, hidden away from the light of anybody else's view or opinion. I have thousands and thousands of photographs from the music video and film sets I've worked on, to the musicians, artists, influencers and festivals I've photographed, and so much more... just sitting on my hard drives and on my website (which is www.sonia-primerano.com for anyone that's interested) But of course no one sees any of it because I don't promote it 😒🙄 I've been deeply hurt in the past by people I confided in when it came to my creative expression, only to be dismissed, diminished and criticized by the people I loved most - so to put myself out there to the general public has pretty much terrified me ever since. Can anyone else relate? 🤷🏽♀️⠀
I'm working on it, though. Working on feeling confident in my work and in myself. Working on a new website that is more authentic for what my work is, and separating that from my personal brand and words and poetry of Sonia Primerano (that'ss me! 🤩). ⠀
Mostly, though, I just want to say thank you to anyone that has stuck around this long. You have no idea how happy it makes me feel to know that what I write impacts you in positive ways. I love you all so much. 💞⠀
