Tomorrow I hop a flight back home to Tulsa for a visit. Throwing back to last year when I went home and carried a block of @beecherscheese on the plane and hand delivered it to my parents at the Tulsa airport, with a slew of other local favorites. See you tomorrow, Oklahomies! ❤️
WELCOME!!!! I’m so excited to finally get this page live. It’s been a thought in my head to officially launch a portrait focus of my career for months and to have it finally come to life is really exciting •• A little bit about me: my name is Kaia D’Albora (@dalb.y) and I’m an editorial and portrait photographer based in LA, San Diego and Seattle. Sounds like a lot, I know, but I grew up in Seattle, moved to LA, and my honey lives in San Diego. I have clients in all of those places which makes for an exciting life of travel for me! I have a background in sports photography and worked in the Seattle Sports scene for about 3 years pretty heavily. I moved to LA to pursue my craft in an oversaturated city (still questioning that decision tbh) but I love what I do and I work hard to keep doing it •• Now for the gushy stuff. I love photography because I love people. Having the opportunity capture human vulnerability and raw experiences are at the root of why I do what I do. I’m also a total sucker for love. There’s absolutely nothing more beautiful than that look of head-over-heals-in-love between two people and capturing it makes my heart melt (and my eyes water...) •• Being a part of your love story, capturing those moments you’ll hold forever close to your heart is a huge honor for me. I’ve learned so much about the human experience and about myself doing the work that I do and I’m so excited to continue to learn more and capture more love along the way •• DM or email me if you’d like to set up a session. My website is in the works so for now just scroll through my little feed. Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to work with you!!!!

Fun fact about me: my marraige anniversary is the day after christmas! We didn't have a wedding at all because Nick was leaving for deployment right after our holiday leave. Should we take anniversary photos? Yes or no? 👇🏼
Throwback to two years ago I was visiting one of my favorite countries #Japan . 🇯🇵
Told my Mom I wanted to stop by Japan when I go home and she got was like, “AGAIN! How many times do you have to visit there?”
Living there for two years wasn’t enough. Visiting wasn’t enough. I can go again and again. ✈️
#WeddingTipWednesday guys! Make sure you have someone (actually multiple someones) in your bridal party or close family that knows how to put on your dress. Seriously. The number of weddings I go to and it is a struggle is crazy.
I’ve been taking more time off of this little app and it’s pretty amazing how much my mood has changed. Last month I was getting into this funk and trapped myself into the comparison game. This app can be amazing because you get to meet so many incredibly talented people all over the world, but, this app can also get really dark and play these mind fuck games with you. I decided to make a change. So, I limited myself to go on Instagram twice a day and for only 15 minutes each time. I don’t allow myself to go on after 9pm and lately I’ve been leaving my phone in my office at night rather than having it on my nightstand. It’s so silly, but I feel a lot happier + I get that time with my husband or I get to read + I’ve been getting a lot more sleep 😂 Not having my phone near me at night takes away the urge to go on it and mindlessly scroll for hours. If you feel like your mind is a little clouded these days I suggest putting your phone down a little more. It’s amazing how much this little device + app does to our heath. Anywho, I’m rambling now🤪 I hope everyone is having the best week ever!!🤘🏼
