Well my pregnancy is going really good right now. Baby is starting to move lots! I could feel movement in moments of stillness really early on this time around and in the last couple days they have gotten stronger; very active in the evening.
I took a me day today, got a massage, bought this warm cozy sweater and didn’t worry about the state of my house. The massage didn’t really do what I wanted though so I gave my sciatica some double pigeon love 💜

Happy Sunday peeps 🤗
I have some good news.
One: I went out TWICE this weekend. I got dressed and saw friends and family, and made it through both times even though I just wanted to stay home. It was a big step, and I made it!
Two: FINALLY this week I have my doctors appointment for my sciatica!!!!! So hopefully they can get me on a treatment protocol so I can exercise again!!!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I am not myself without exercise. Right now even walking irritates my nerve. 😭 So fingers crossed I have get a plan.
Three: Thursday I leave for San Diego for @angieleeshow PTBB conference. I booked my ticket weeks ago before I was struggling with depression. BUT I think it will be a great excuse for me to force myself to get up and be my regular motivated determined positive self. ☺️ I also hope it inspires me with some new ideas for my clients and my followers!
That’s pretty much it. Thanks for hanging in with my slowly posting page, it’ll make a comeback I promise. 😘 Happy Sunday!!! #health#fitness#sciatica#sciaticarelief#injury#deppression#anxiety#ptbb#paystobebrave#fitness#lifestyle#curls

Tight ass? 🤔 There's been lots of chat about sciatica lately so here's some of the causes and my top stretch for managing it:
Sciatica is pain that runs down into the glute / sometimes legs, typcailly caused by tight glutes compressing the sciatic nerve. Occasionally it can be caused by something more serious like a herniated disc or growth, so you should always get it checked out.
It's common, we see a lot of it in clinic and it's generally really responsive to treatment. It does require a bit of homework from you too such a gentle exercises and stretches.
Pop in to see us if this sounds like you. We're ACC accredited and able to refer to X-ray and Ultrasound if needed.
SCIATICA TREATMENT IN CLINIC | In clinic, we see patients that have been suffering with low back pain for a long period of time and haven’t ever seen an osteopath or physical therapist. The symptoms can progress further and manifest such as sharp stabbing pain into the buttock, dullness at the back of the leg and even travels down into the foot. Dr Brieuc Wilmart says: “Sciatica may be associated with high stress levels and poor sleep patterns, which can further aggravate your low back pain.” #sequenceosteo#sciaticatreatment
💥PAIN IN THE BUTT 😜
💁I know all about that electric nerve pain that likes to visit which is a symptom called "sciatica" that comes along due to pre-existing back injuries and gets worse when certain muscles become weak and tight! ♥ SAVE this to your collections so you can try it when your on the floor next whether you have sciatica or not because they help release common tight spots that majority of us have anyway! .

✖Spikey Ball Release
Normally stretching glutes is helpful however depending on your disc problem, certain twists can aggrevate it or make it worse. So as a standard video and not knowing your spinal history, I have not shown glute stretches that I love that so contain a twist but have given a great solution of using a spikey ball to relax the glute muscle 🍑 .
Always keep your body moving, active, foam roll, stretch, or wtv your favorite ways are and your body will be less likely to stiffen up, or so we hope right 😇 #celindafitness#celindabelle#pilateswithcelinda#sciaticarelief#sciatica#sciaticastretches#backpain#fitperthlife#perthfitfam#perthmums#perthfitness

What is Nerve Pain?
Nerve pain is also known as Neuropathy The system of nerves in the skin, muscles, and internal organs of the body transmit information to the central nervous system that includes the spinal cord and brain. Damage to the peripheral nerves can come from trauma, infection, nutrition, toxins, or a disease such as diabetes. While medication does exist, it is limited in its effectiveness, as well as having side effects.

It’s #FitnessFriday - how about some gentle evening yoga to kickstart the weekend?? 🧘🏼♀️ Yoga, the 5000 year old practice that’s now celebrated all over the world, still gets a bad rep sometimes. But what does the evidence really say?
Although more research is needed, initial studies indicate that yoga is not only good for fitness, but also for developing strength and muscle. Furthermore, regular yoga practice can reduce stress and gently alleviate both anxiety and depression.
What does this mean in the long-run?
In addition to improving health and wellbeing - improving your quality of life today - yoga is associated with reduced risk of illness later; this is partially mediated by increased exercise, improved breathing, and stress reduction. Regular yoga practice decreases the chance of suffering non-infectious diseases such as heart disease and stroke, and can alleviate pain and mobility restrictions associated with arthritis, scoliosis, and sciatica, to name just a few.
Nowadays, the United Nations is on board with yoga, and even introduced an International Yoga Day to celebrate it. The World Health Organization supports the regular practice of yoga, and the NHS too encourages it, offering it for patients ranging in diagnoses from Cancer to Bipolar disorder!
See below for WHO and NHS sources, and I encourage you to explore further how yoga could help you! Simply remember to ensure professional instruction, and ideally attend small group or individual classes (at least to start) in order to receive the maximum benefit by developing a practice most suited to YOUR bodies individual needs. 🙏🏻 http://www.searo.who.int/mediacentre/features/2018/yoga-valuable-tool-to-increase-physical-activity-decrease-ncds/en/
When your spine is subluxated, this bony misalignment causes the nerve to get pinched. This can then lead to muscle weakness, cramping, pain, or numbness and tingling down the arms and/or legs. Numbness is a sign that the nerve is malfunctioning and over time, the nerve will slowly die. While not the only cause of paresthesia, if the root cause is spinal, decompression therapy as well as spinal curve correction can resolve this issue. Drugs and surgery should not be your first go to as they both come with serious risks and side effects. Let’s go least invasive first! At Wellness Choice, we see this condition every day and get phenomenal results. Call us to schedule and get educated on WHY you are suffering the way you are. We pride ourselves on helping patients understand the cause of their condition and exactly how we can help. We are passionate about our mission of healing and providing life changing results! 🙌🏼✨•
Our doctors are trained to remove adhesion through manual methods. Adhesion causes serious muscle and joint pain as well as nerve entrapment. These conditions are widely ignored and under-diagnosed.
The only other way to get rid of adhesion once it’s bad enough to cause #pain is cutting it with surgical procedures.
Surgery is no picnic, has serious side effects, and isn’t always necessary.
Would you rather have us fix your problem with our hands and no surgical complications for a fraction of the cost?
