"All children are different and as a principal, these differences stand out in everyday proceedings. We need a system that can help us bring weak students up to the levels of bright students. Until now we haven't found a product that is as precise, effective and easy as Learn Bigger. We need to understand and respect the preferences of students and Learn Bigger is helping us do just that."⠀

Something that’s always bothered me is the amount of hate people have towards their peers with good averages and/or grades. Literally EVERYONE feels some level of stress when a test comes up. When a friend comes to you for a shoulder to cry on, let them, and help them work through it. Don’t dismiss them and tell them they flat out aren’t allowed to feel a certain way. All students feel scared on some level, and it’s completely normal.
Every student gets worried, not just you. People don’t get high marks without working their asses off. School is a mess, the last thing we need to do is put unnecessary stress on our peers.
On Saturday, December 8, the Peekskill City School District kicked off their Saturday Academy program by welcoming City of Peekskill Mayor Andre Rainey, who presented a Proclamation noting the City and School District’s acceptance of the National/NYS My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Community Challenge.
The day combined two of Peekskill’s largest initiatives for the 2018-2019 school year, PCSD’s Saturday Academy and the MBK program, both of which were made possible by the receipt of the District’s
Parent, Family and Community Engagement grant.
Former President Obama began the MBK initiative in February of 2014 to address persistent opportunity gaps confronted by young men of color in order to make sure that all young men reached their full potential. This initiative seeks to establish a commitment from the community leaders to assist in reaching that goal. To date, Peekskill City School District has identified over 50 student mentees at the middle and high school levels. These young men have been paired with mentors that span from district employees to community partners and business owners.
Recently, our MBK participants were highlighted for their participation in the historic Lower Hudson Valley MBK Youth Leadership Summit that took place at the White Plains County Center on October

~Relationship and Sex Education~
Relationship and Sex education is to be compulsory from 2020 for 4 year olds in England.
We need to be aware of what is being taught to our children.
This attacks the foundational beliefs of our Deen and there is a clear attempt to sexualise our innocent children by exposing and promoting confusing ideologies.
Some examples of what is already being taught in schools: - Write a love letter to somebody of the same gender as you - Heather has two mummy's
Lets be clear with our children and teach them the beautiful teachings of our Deen. Let us engage with our schools to see exactly what is being taught to our young and innocent children.
May Allah swt protect our innocent children from such evil, make them the embodiment of Quran & Sunnah and make them a means of guidance for the whole Muslim Ummah - Ameen!
We just love our school fundraisers! Seeing kids helping kids is very empowering and lets students have a positive impact on the well-being of others. 🙌
