Regrann from @alexwill64 - “Check your ego.”
Oh word? How though, mayne??
Especially if most people are operating a whole host of coping mechanisms generated from adolescent traumas that were never reconciled?
Translation to laymen’s terms: What if people have learned to be comfortable with the pain & insecurities of the their past, which are now the driving forces behind their behaviors?
Understand that these driving factors construct what you call the ego in the form of schemas—each schema is a psychosomatic (mind/soul + body) programming that is responsible for everything from the way you process sensory information to the way you create beliefs & opinions to the way you react to the content in the world seemingly outside of you (the physical world and the dreams you have).
So if is a process of true education—the drawing out & revealing of one’s inner content—then the best way to learn is being conscious of how your psyche has been formed; this not only includes the ego, but also your shadow self and eventually your soul in total.
How humans can be so self-righteous (be they Christians, Moors, or occultists) while remaining ignorant of their internal processes has always been one of the inside jokes of their existence. Priding in this ignorance is an ever bigger joke. All the while humans are attempting to hide and/or ignore their flaws, the soul remains aware of everything—and that’s why the true education, no matter how harsh, never stops. But how willing are we to learn?
I’m drawing partial inspiration from Stephen Wolinsky’s book ‘The Dark Side of the Inner Child’, for those who are willing to learn.

Today we went to find the Gruffalo at Delamere Park with lovely friends. It was wonderful! These little teepees were perfect for exploring twigs, sticks, branches and pinecones 🌱🌾.

ROUND AND ROUND #inquirybasedlearning and #processart part 1! We provided objects which roll and invited the children to explore how they could roll the objects to make marks. We also looked at snail shells and introduced the idea of drawing spirals and continuous rotation marks as part of their emergent mark making. It also transpired that this was a fab activity for turn taking, collaborating and sharing as the children discovered they could roll the objects to each other and back again! #holisticlearning #eyfs #earlyyears #reggioinspired #education #earlyyearsteacher #earlyyearsthroughart #play #messyplay #sensoryplay #schemas #nursery #preschool

Ella is so in tune and connected to nature. Today, she blew me away with just how much of an Earth girl she is. She was cuddling the trees and 'listening to the noises' that they make. What a amazing little lady my Daughter is 🌾🌱.

Busy day for Our Little Tinker. He had his first settle at nursery, then home for lunch and a nap.
.
.
At nursery he was interested in their dance scarves (its a familiar item as we use them at home) and their large rattan balls filled with ribbons.
.
.
So while he slept I set up this quick provocation taking inspiration from @the_treasure_babes circles play. I've threaded this black and white scarf through napkin rings and curtain rings.
.
.
After he had woken up he soon was keen to explore this. .
.
He pulled the rings off then developed his own play by fetching his cardboard packing. He then stated to fill the box with the rings and scarf and other objects he could find.
.
.
He always amazes me how a baby of 8 months old can think of their own ideas and develop his own play experience. Babies are definitely NOT to be underestimated .

He then started to fill the box with the rings, the scarf and other objects he could find.

If you want to support your child to play independently it’s worth considering using invitations to play. In other words, set up an activity before hand and present it to your child as a special activity. By spending the time to set up an activity will give you time to enjoy some quiet time. This is especially helpful for families with new babies but has benefits for everyone.
If this is a new concept for your child or your child is particularly needy of adult company, you may have to take some time in showing them how to play alone. You can do this by sitting quietly next to them and playing alongside them. Try to copy what they do rather than showing them how to use the toys. That way they will grow in confidence of what they can do rather than thinking they need your help. .

This simple activity is sure to keep your little ones entertained while also helping to build those muscles needed for writing. Simply set up a basket with some blocks and pieces of tin foil and show them how to use the foil to wrap up the blocks. Little ones will very likely extend this activity to play happy birthday wrapping presents which is great for language, imaginative play, problem solving, physical development and maths. Who would guess a simple activity could be such a big learning process. .

Someone needed a big release of energy today, but when we got to the park Ella decided the most exciting thing to do would be to sit down and collect the wood chippings to post through the base of this rocker and collect leaves and weeds. Great sensory feedback.

Happy 2nd Birthday, J! One of our ExploraTots and his friends enjoyed a 'tipping and pouring' themed party today. We had songs, musical instruments, dancing under the disco light, balloons and lots of bubbles, followed by fun-filled exploration of the specially themed provocations.
If you would like more information about having an ExploraTots party for your little ones (or even a whole group of friends), visit the website (link in bio) or send me a message for a party theme list and prices. 🎂🎉✨

Sensory Baskets
Sensory baskets are a brilliant way for your child to learn about the world around them or to explore a certain topic of interest. Sensory baskets should have a range of materials and textures for your little ones to explore. This basket is explore the colour yellow and has a mixture of wood, plastic cloth and ceramic items. .

This afternoon we played with some natural loose parts. Presented symmetrically to please my own inner need for order, this was a HUGE hit.
We used: wooden spools, ice lolly sticks, cork and thin wood slabs.
We practiced balance, taking turns, being creative, directing eachother and perseverance.
Loose parts are going to be a huge part of learning in this house 🌾.

Our Little ‘Transportors’ // Schemas: Transporting. Little Ones, especially between 2-3 years, love to move small objects from one place to another. By doing so they are making sense of the world around them. Observe how they may fill up their pockets and buckets as they engage in this. Sit back and allow them time to move things without interruption. Here’s another dough recipe to try at home. Ice cream play dough. All you need is cornflour and hair conditioner!! Add a couple of cups of cornflour into a bowl a a good squirt of hair conditioner and mix together in by bit until you get the right consistency. Toddlers will love this squashy dough as as it’s easy to manipulate and older children will too. If your child is past putting things in their mouth, try adding some ice cream cones, sprinkles and syrup and let them get creative with an ice cream shop. #toptip cheap fruity conditioner works great with this activity as it will smell like ice cream too. Try: strawberry, coconut, apple or add some hot chocolate powder to coconut .

As I mentioned in a previous post, the children have a great interest in ramps right now! Let me show you how that applies to our emergent curriculum. An emergent curriculum is curriculum and planning based solely on where the children's natural curiosities lie and what THEY want to learn. Because let's face it, if a young child has decided not to care about shapes and colors (or whatever is in traditional early ed curriculum) then they aren't gaining as much as they can be from us. A successful emergent curriculum approach means that teachers thoughtfully plan the environment, offering many visible choices, based on the children's skills and needs. Teachers conduct observations and plan based on their observations of children.

On the topic of making huge cardboard structures in the previous post, why not have a go at making your own. Whether you have a large cardboard boxes to create rockets, racing cars or castles or small boxes from cereals and food, your little one will really enjoy the process of making their own models. This will support all those muscles needed for writing while they use glue sticks, cellotape, string, markers, paint, etc.. Prepare to be amazed by your little ones creativity and problem solving as they come up with ideas for their model. If you are planning on visiting one of the amazing cardboard structures this weekend, this would be a great activity prior or post visit to help your children understand the process of creating cardboard structures. .

When my son is obsessed with anything that spins, I should have known that stepping through this hoop was not going to happen!!! Spin spin spin!

I followed his lead and added some musical instruments to make it more interesting for him! Following your child's lead and interests in play is vital for learning. If they're not interested and it doesn't meet their needs they won't engage or concentrate which means they won't learn as much from the activity. Adapting activities to meet their interests allows them to stay focused and engaged, increasing learning opportunities. It is also important that activities meet their age and stage. When setting up themed tuff trays or play spaces, have a think about how your child can use the resources provided.

Whether starting nursery or reception, there are a lot of misconceptions of what school readiness is. Until the end the reception year (UK) your child will be following the EYFS curriculum. This is a play based curriculum which supports the whole child being confident and independent with good communication skills so they can have positive learning experiences. Good teaching will be provided through a multi sensory approach rather than formal lessons.
The best way to support your child becoming school ready is by supporting their confidence and independence. It can be detrimental to your child if they can write their name before being able to wipe their own bottom.
Here is a list of ways you can support your child’s transition to school.
Use cutlery effectively (they won’t harm themselves with a table knife)
Use the toilet and wash hands independently
Mostly dress themselves independently
Put on own shoes (think Velcro over buckles and laces)
Fasten coats
Have confidence to explore outdoors
Do crafts, playdoh, painting, drawing, using scissors, glue sticks etc. Using the tools and equipment is much more important than the final product
Don’t encourage children to continue to use baby language if they can pronounce the words correctly eg boccy, blankie, gandad (grandad). Do this by always saying the word correctly This will help with phonics.
Ask your child questions.
Answer your child’s questions no matter how silly they are.
Ask your child to make predictions eg, what will happen to the cake mixture in the oven?
Encourage your children to talk to adults such as shop assistants, waiters or bus drivers by letting them ask for their ticket/food.

•SCHEMAS•
Our flower arranging activity really worked little E's favourite two schema's today. We spoke yesterday about the Positioning schema where things are lined up and sorted into groups and positions. This activity also falls into the other current obsession of the Transporting schema, where children move things one by one from one place to another.
Ella enjoyed putting every stem from the box then into her pot and back at least 6 times. Endless fun and exploration of nature. .

Today we did some flower arranging. This works beautifully for the two schema's Ella is currently in (to be discussed in the next post). This is always a hit in our house 🌾🌱.

Enjoying the view 👀⛰ What do you talk about with your kiddos?

We see a lot from our backyard: mountains, highways, buildings, train, trucks, tractors, satellites, birds, and bug to name a few. The variety brings out a lot of comments and discussions with the kiddos.
Every comment and discussion helps form schemas in their brain about the world around them.

Let's talk about •SCHEMA'S•. Ella is firmly in her POSITIONING schema currently. But what are they?
You know those fascinating and sometimes obsessive strange things that children do such as dropping things from heights, spinning, lining things up, wrapping things, transporting things from one place to another etc... they're all schema's and completely normal but fascinating parts of toddler development.
Ella's Positioning schema means that she's obsessed with lining up her toys, matching colours, making sure everything is positioned correctly.
More about schema's to come 🌱.
On another note, these @melissaanddougtoys Emergency Vehicle Stackers are perfect for identifying and matching colours too so lovely for those early learning opportunities. .

Who has a child with a car obsession and a roll of masking tape? Here is one for you to set up before bed tonight. Make some masking tape roads around the living room set up with some cars, and hey presto, you’ll win the best parent ever award and a hot cup of tea while they are entertained 👍. #toptip add some other toys which don’t get as much use such as a farm set or simple Lego buildings. This will encourage your little one to extend their interests and add another layer to their play/learning. .

This basic shapes activity provides children with the opportunity to explore and create with shapes. The activity involves placing coloured gems along the lines of the square, rectangle, circle and triangle. It encourages shape recognition and learning about their attributes (what each shape looks like and their qualities) and how to make them. .
This activity can be utilised as a simple work station or maths centre for children to play and explore with shapes. It also promotes fine motor and coordination skills as children are picking up and placing glass gems onto the paper using the pincer grip action.
.
WHAT YOU NEED:
You will need coloured card, marker pen and coloured glass gems.
If you do not have glass gems, you may like to use buttons, string, stones or other small tokens for this activity.
.
SOME IDEAS:
- Place coloured gem stones only the lines of the rectangle, square, triangle and circle.
- Talk about the attributes of each shape and ask questions, what do you call a shape that has two long sides and two short side (lengths)? Which of the shapes would you say looks like a window or dinner plate?
- Extend the learning and talk about corners. What is a corner? Which shape does not have corners?
- Go on a treasure hunt around the house, classroom or other environment searching for real-life objects that rectangular, circular, triangular or square shaped.
- Add other loose parts to the activity, such as stones, buttons or string.
- Create patterns using the different colour glass gems, such as green, blue, green, blue, etc.
- Turn the cardboard over and see if you can make the shape again but this time with no lines.
- Turn the cardboard over to expose a clear canvas for children to create freely on. Provide them with the opportunity to make their own pictures using the gemstones.
- Read stories about shapes or watch educational videos about shapes on YouTube.

Painting with Balloon is a great activity for kids to explore creatively and imaginatively as they create freely using simple props in an open-ended and unstructured way. It also makes a great sensory activity as children use their hands to manipulate the paint and balloons to create patterns and prints onto paper
.
WHAT YOU NEED:
You will need 6 balloons (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple), a paint palette, large sheet of paper and coloured paint (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple). These balloons are not water balloons, we used regular party balloons filled with air as they are much stronger. Place the green balloon in the green paint, red balloon into the red paint and so on. Only inflated the balloons slightly, providing enough volume for small hands to hold and grasp.
.
The rainbow coloured balloons inspired a rainbow pattern painting which started off by creating large blobs of paint prints onto the paper. It later ended up in a sensory messy experience with rolling balloons and all the paint mixed together into one brown paint colour. It was so much fun!
.
SOME IDEAS:
-Count out loud as each blob of paint is pressed onto the paper with the balloon.
-Set a challenge, can you cover the whole page with paint? Start on the outside of the paper and work your way to the middle of the page.
-Mix the paints and create new colours.
-Use the painted paper as gift wrap or as a book cover.
-Read stories that have balloons and talk about how balloons are used in our world.

This post is really near to my heart..
Because these lines are about "changing the mindsets", which really matters these times cz most of the people around our societies consider everything as the same way, even treat everything as the same way. . !
Which really irritating and devastating and can diminishes the worth of such things and make them spineless..
Like if we have a schema about some person's passion and we don't like that and consider that worthless.. that 100 n 10%wrong thing cz everything is this world is worthy these times and everyone is earning what things he bestow with ..
.
So my request is with all such people who feels like this and having such schemas like this or any else one.. please change ur mindsets and Update it with the version of 21st century ❄❄❤ And Be Innovative❤❤

HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS, SUBCONSCIOUS & utilising the SUPERCONSCIOUS... What are you thinking about today? Do we think too much?
Not enough? Or not enough about the correct things?
I intentionally don’t use work sheets or workbooks in or for sessions. invite clients to come into sessions with current raw honest energy as possible.
Clients experience more unexpected things coming up which they had not considered or not had time to attach to. Soul evolution is about funding out what you are required to work on, not knowing what you WANT to work on. We are too complex as beings to know it all before we get there in the subconscious or superconscious. This is why Quantum Energy Alchemy is designed very specifically to be as vast, unassuming & efficient as possible.
When we go digging, searching or hunting for information it can be overlaid with intention.
For example, if the intention is to free yourself of an insecurity blocking you from attracting an ideal partner or ideal customers your focus may go into the conditioned state of assuming what the blocks may be. This prevents soul truth, the truth from being revealed. This is why I invite clients into sessions with pure, raw energy & to be in the present moment.
Do you wish to dive deeper into an idea, project, trajectory in your life?
Do you feel you can be & acheive more, yet unsure of how to access the your higher potential?
Even the most ‘successful’ people strive for greater achievement & fulfilment. It’s an ongoing process & evolution.
Quantum Energy Alchemy has helped many people dive deeper into conscious awareness of their subconscious & superconscious potential. And I am here to help you.

The farm has also long been home to a holiday playscheme, which has lots of free arts and crafts activities during the holidays.
Entry to the farm is completely free, however they are a charity and all donations are greatly received. .

Today’s fun will include learning about bees 🐝 We’ve got big pictures of sunflowers, and lots of bunches of lavender from the garden. Along with little bees and flowers, I’ve sprinkled “pollen” (sesame seeds) over the flower pictures for the bees to collect and take back to the hive. We’ll learn about the work that is down to turn it into honey, and have given the children three honey jars to fill. Many of our children have a definite ‘enveloping schema’ (ie, like filling pots, boxes and bags), so should certainly enjoy this activity! #schemas #bees #understandingtheworld

Tomorrow is forecast to rain all day. But don’t look at it as a reason to stay indoors. Dust off the raincoats and shake out the wellies and head to the park to splash in muddy puddles and slide down slippery slopes. The temperature will still be warm so it’s the perfect day to let your little ones explore what it’s like to play in the rain, find shelter under a tree and discover a whole new element to the world around them. Sights, sounds and even smells change in the rain and thats not something you can watch from your window or view on YouTube. .

With lots of rain forecast this weekend you might be looking for something to keep your little ones entertained indoors. Try out this simple moon sand recipe

8 cups of flour
1 cup of baby oil (or any cooking oil if your child is likely to taste it)
Mix together and your ready to go.
This is a fantastic sensory activity as the mixture binds together well to make shapes but easily turns back to a sandy consistency.
#toptip use with cookie cutters, cake cases and kitchen tools for another layer of fun, exploration and learning or add some cars and diggers to create a construction site. .
