High Falls / Lake Glenville // We spent a long spring weekend in Sapphire, NC and visited a few waterfalls in the area. High Falls and Hatcher Falls (further down river) were gorgeous, but even more spectacular was the trail to the falls. Beautiful undergrowth of trillium, ferns, flaming azaleas, and much more saddled the trail. Burly bridges hewn from fallen trees guide you safely through the traverse landscape. Do yourself a favor and spend a few hours exploring this stunning area.
This week. This week was one of the most bizarre and upsetting weeks I have experienced in quite awhile. Trying to keep myself composed and trying to fake my way through a smile has been extremely challenging. I haven’t been able to accomplish the things I need done and that’s okay. It’s okay to have bad days, bad weeks. We are human.
A throwback to a year ago and a session with my buddy @tommytwhite at Rough Ridge. One of the most productive days I’ve ever had as a photographer. I’ve also heard that the colors in the High Country are finally coming on strong after a long delay; so maybe I might be paying that area a visit this weekend. 😉
