the world’s largest saltwater crocodile, to date, was captured in normanton, a small outback town in northern queensland, that houses the great norman river.
also, the person who shot it was a woman crocodile hunter, krystina pawlowski. the croc was named krys the savannah king in her honor.

Still can't believe this was the view from our room. There is a light by the waterhole so we could see late at night Elephants, buffalos, coming to drink. This camp is in the middle of a National Park, there are no fences like in other camps we stayed , so wild animals can roam free hence we had to be escorted by a Masai from and to the bedroom......not that we wanted to leave the room anyway ....time to reflect....
