“Good friends are like Stars. You don’t always see them but you know they will be with you forever.”
I’m so glad I decided to try for a second job, because I met you! Ashley, your such a beautiful, kind, giving and funny person! Your always there for everybody in your life, and your constantly thinking of others. Thank you for being in my life! Your more then any friend could ever ask for! Love you girl!
Farm Food: My nephew and my first attempt at a meringue for pavlova. It took my nephew 5 eggs to separate his two whites. So proud of his perseverance learning this new skill. Wish he had listened to me explaining the plan before breaking the first one. Thank you @gvhftr.kijl for sharing your recipe with us! #farm#Saskatchewan#meringue#cookingwithkids#timewellspent
Ok, I’m trying to do the whole line of photos in my IG feed, bear with me because I’m probably doing it wrong. Today’s #mylifeinthesasklane sees me taking the ferry river crossing at Estuary, over to the Hutterite Colony to pick up the birds we took there on Thursday to be butchered.
I love our ferries!! Before I moved to Saskatchewan I had been on a ferry, of course I had....I lived in as island after all!
Someone here tried to describe a Saskatchewan Ferry to me here before I went on one. I’m not going to lie, I thought they were crazy and I couldn’t imagine it.
For those that don’t know, I live close to the South Saskatchewan River, which is quite a sizeable body of water. Did you know that Saskatchewan has more roads than any other province? But what do you do when there’s so many roads and a great big honking river slices through the middle of them? Bridges are expensive after all!?!
Instead the ministry of highways operates ferries to take cars across at certain places. Each ferry free and ran by a ferryman who is there 7am-12am, closing at 12-12:30 and 6-6:30 for lunch and supper. We have crazy cold winters so they only operate April-November (or try too) depending on the ice situation.
The Estuary Ferry can hold 6 cars, i doubt very much that ever happens though, it’s pretty quite down here. The ferryman told me they cross about 8,000 vehicles a yearly Estuary.
We’ve just come away from a weekend of strategizing with clients and I thought I would use the commonalities between them to help explain what it is we do best here at Prairie Sky!
Some ask: Why counselling? Why consulting? Why coaching? And the answer is they are all very similar in the process of achieving ones goals. Where you start depends not only on your goals but also on your stage in the task ahead of you.
With all clients, we speak in terms of a spectrum or continuum and the reality is we are all on one. Where you are at in your personal dilemma, challenge, or struggle in life, as a parent, an employee, leader, or business owner is highly personal and each is an emotional journey (whether we like to admit it or not). Your free consultation may shed light on something you had not considered; it may focus you in a new direction; or help to chart a course for a different path. No matter the concern we are solution focused, in that education forms the core of ‘support services’ in all our problem solving endeavours.
Curious enough? Contact us today and like those we’ve worked with this week, you may be awakened not only to the things holding you back, but to the ease at which the path ahead can be navigated.
RIGHT NOW at this VERY MOMENT FATHER GOD I thank you for what you are preparing me for! I thank you for my life I thank you for family friends and health! You have provided for me and shelters me from the wicked evils and death! Plz continue to be with me even when I fall short. - BJ DANIELS (your son) #OnlyGod 🙏🏽 @sskroughriders @cfl #bjdaniels5#bjdaniels#saskatchewan#saskatchewanroughriders
