Today I’ve laughed my real blog! I was thinking about it for a long time. Finally I did it and I am excited 🖤I feel like there’s much more information I want to share with you and Instagram doesn’t always fit to all my requirements in terms of long posts, themes or amount of pictures.
⠀ In the blog I want to focus on travel, photo editing and Instagram tips and tricks, which is part of my work anyways, since I am working in marketing.
⠀ Quick math about the blog:
⠀ 10$ - Domain: Legrisa.com on GoDaddy !! Likely mine was available, if you wanna know where does my nickname come from, check out my stories.
⠀ 42$ - Hosting for a year through Hostgator.com , honestly I researched so many different hostings but the cheapest one was Hostgator, plus they have really good support 24/7. I took me awhile to figure out how to get an extra discount though.
⠀ 52$ Wordpress theme, I didn’t feel like I want to spend whole month trying to learn how to set up my own theme that could fit to all my expectations, so I just bought one through Themeforest.com and I don’t regret at all.
⠀ Overall it took me about 100$ and 3 weeks of studying and researching such complicated things like ssl, html, alt and ect.
⠀ And here I am, ready to create 😊check out my first post, link in bio
Legacy at 93. My grandmother is an award winning artist. She has been featured in several award winning galleries, art books, recognized by San Francisco Art institute and Berkeley as one of the most influential artists of her time and she continues to create. 93 and she still creates beauty from a blank canvas. She has lived all over the world but the Bay Area is her home. Growing up in Berkeley, living in the city and Vallejo most of her years. She has done many mediums but acrylic and oil will always be her favorite next to pastel. It's been incredible watching her over the last 28 years of my life. I grew up going to art shows, galleries, museum's and always truly appreciating creators. 93 and her art is what keeps her going, creating, doing and living through her hands. She still has the tenacity to go into her studio every day, manager her @etsy and send her inventory all over the world. She amazes me. Everyday I get this reminder that I can be and do anything I set my heart and mind too. My grandmas #1 question is "what were you thinking when you created this?" And her answer is always the same: "I don't create for myself, I create for the viewer to feel and see what they take away from the moment of viewing a piece with their individual perception of my art" 93 and she will always speak to the soul. I bought this piece from her after watching her complete this AFTER breaking her hip and recovering from major surgery. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She didn't use a brush, she used a knife to create this entire piece. To me it's a reminder of the beauty that surrounds me. To never forget the ability to blossom through all things this life has to hand us and to never be afraid to stand out while blending in.https://www.etsy.com/shop/MarshNelsonStudio?ref=s2-header-shopname #legacy#legend#artist#artistsoninstagram#art#artsy#bird#acrylicpainting#acrylic#original#oneofakind#etsy#estyshop#sanfrancisco#sanfran#swanson#gallery#sausalito#beauty#oneofakind#artoftheday#originalart#nevergiveup#effingbelieveinyourself
Getting into the week like 🤸🏻♀️ Never been so motivated as I am now and wonder is it a bad thing to be ambitious?!😬 Was talking for a couple of hours with my friends about the subject and didn’t find the right answer 🤨
Conclusion : Do what you love and nothing else matters 😉
I want to thank the beautiful state of California for not only having amazing scenery/attractions but for letting me build more memories with my bestie and my sister!
