Your bathroom is a place for you to step back from the chaos & immerse yourself in relaxation.
ProTip: Pick a neutral palette and softened accessories (like candles or soothing botanicals) to get that tranquil comfort in your own home and ease the mind.
90/100 #100daysoftinycharcoalbuttons - Inspired by Garth who lives @thehappyherd in Aldergrove BC - a loving sanctuary for abused and abandoned farm animals. I 100% recommended following them!Dedicating this one to @ashleyomara_art for telling me about it and who’s love for animals is as heart warming as a chicken cuddling up to a pig and who I also 100% recommend following because her animal portraits 100% wonderful! 🐷 🐓 💕
My #prayercloset is my safe space. I am recharged, revitalized, and renewed here. In this space I remember who I am and my purpose. I #meditate here. I #pray here. I sometimes cry here. I am vulnerable here. I am my truth here. And here is where the Most High greets me with open arms to love, teach, guide, and #balance me. No matter what is going on in my life, as soon as I step in here, I become really clear on what direction I should take. We all need a place like this. In this age of technology, noise and distractions, I encourage everyone to create a special space in their home to #retreat .
One of our thankyou gifts or "perks" for those who donated to our fundraising campaign was a personalised thankyou from one of our residents.
This thankyou is from the beautiful Liam Lambsworth, who had a very tough start to life as his mother passed away whilst giving birth to him. Liam is one of our most outgoing lambs and will go to the end of earth, or at least the top of the ute tray to get to the delicious hay our fundraising campaign has allowed us to purchase.
Liam's thankyou goes out to Kate Urquhart. Thankyou so much Kate for your support of the residents of Little Oak and lambs like Liam! #thankful#communitysupport#bethechange#sanctuary#littleoaksanctuary
Think tank. // Was reminded today to be grateful for the incredible opportunity I’ve been afforded here at the DreamCenter. God hooked a sister up. The studious side of me has geeked out over the fact that, along with changing the world, I’ve always wanted an office to pray in, plan in, make things happen in - and I’ve been able to make this one my sanctuary from the storm! Learning to rejoice over every blessing - small or big - and praise God for seeing even the most “insignificant” of my hopes and bringing them to fruition. // #ladreamcenter#dreamcenter#thinktank#office#sanctuary#noshortposts 🤷🏼♀️ #whydontijustblogbecauseobviouslyicantjustsayonething#editwhat
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Sometimes you get busy and put things you love on hold, my love for rescue and working with children is what makes me the happiest I can describe..: aside of being a mom. Last time I went to the zoo I found out a month before I came to visit, one of my wallabies got scared ran into the fencing and died. It literally broke my heart 😢. It made me realize sometimes we need to make time for things that motivate and inspire us. #Rip little wallababy, if there’s a heaven I’m sure he’s there ❤️ .
SHARE AND REPOST BROADLY:
STOP THE HATE.
Together we can block the Alt-Right before they get to their next Charlottesville!
Patriot Prayer has called two rallies on the West Coast, one in Portland on August 4 and another Berkeley on August 5. This shameful caravan is attempting to build ground support for the national fascist rally, “Unite the Right 2,” in DC on August 12.
But we can halt their march!
Last year’s “Unite the Right” rally drew hundreds of alt-right nationalists into the streets of Charlottesville. That day their hateful politics culminated in a fascist driving his car into the counter protest, killing Heather Heyer in the street. This year, they are taking their malice and ideology on a nationwide tour.
If hate can bring out hundreds this August, we can unite in the thousands to stop them!
Let’s show the alt-right that Portland remembers what their ideology means. In 2017, Jeremy Christian, a Patriot Prayer-aligned protestor, yelled racist epithets at two young Muslim women on TriMet. When three Portland residents tried to step in and deescalate, Christian killed two of them.
On August 4th we’ll find safety in numbers. Crowd the streets to stop the hate tour and show the fascists that their racism and anti-immigrant violence will not be tolerated in our city!
We’re better together ~ all out, turn out:
