This is my favorite all time meal. Hard boiled egg, tomato, Israeli pickles, kalamata olives, mini cucumbers, and goat cheese with a light olive oil and lemon juice dressing. Ini bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk bikin LIME TAHINI DRESSING yang rasanya oke banget

5 sdm tahini
2 sdm air jeruk nipis
4 sdm coconut nectar (produk @singabera yang udah halal mui)
1 sdm evoo (extra virgin olive oil)
1 sdm soy sauce (saya pakai liquid aminos merek Bragg)
1/2 sdt jahe parut

Cara membuat :

Campurkan semua bahan, aduk sampai homogen. Masukkan jar tertutup. Siap digunakan. Simpan di lemari es bila ada sisa.

Lalu ada yang tanya how to get/make tahini? 😁

Nyoh tak bagi resepnya juga hehe

200 gram wijen putih ( sangrai)
50 ml evoo
Pinch of salt

Cara membuat :

Blender semua bahan jadi satu sampai lembut. Penambahan minyak bisa dilakukan sesuai dengan tekstur yang diinginkan.

Kalo saya lebih suka pakai blender bumbu yang gelas nya kecil dengan 2 blade. Lebih cepat lembut bila pakai itu.

I love making salads! I’m definitely a throw ‘what ever you’ve got’ into it though- fruit -yip , nuts seeds -absolutely! This time I bought a paleo cereal- so banged a couple table spoons on. Salads can be as interesting and tasty or as boring as bland as you make them! So get inventive! We should be aiming for 7-9 servings of fruit and vege a day... how are you going with that?? ❤️✌️

• Cup of cherry tomatoes halved.⠀

INGREDIENTS

For the squash:

1 1/2 pound butternut squash, cubed (about 4 cups cubed)

1/2 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon McCormick Ground Turmeric

1/4 teaspoon salt

For the salad:

1 large bunch of Tuscan kale, stemmed and very finely chopped (about 6 cups chopped kale)

1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

For the dressing:

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh orange juice

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

1 teaspoon honey

Freshly ground salt and pepper, to taste

For the topping:

1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds (can also use a mix of pumpkin & almonds seeds)

1/3 cup goat cheese crumbles

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place cubed butternut squash on baking sheet, drizzle 1 teaspoon olive oil over the top then add garlic, turmeric and salt. Toss to evenly coat the butternut squash with oil and spices. Spread butternut cubes evenly around pan and roast for 20-25 minutes until squash is fork tender.

While the butternut squash is cooking, chop your kale if you haven’t already and add it to a large bowl. Next prepare your dressing: In a small bowl add the following: olive oil, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard and honey; whisk until smooth. Pour dressing all over the chopped kale and use your (clean) hands to gently massage the dressing into the kale for about 3 minutes. This helps removed any bitterness from the kale and adds flavor the the leafy green.

Once butternut squash is done cooking, add it to the kale along with the pomegranate seeds; toss to combine.

Pour into 4 salad bowls, or 1 large bowl for sharing. Before you serve the salad, top with toasted almonds and goat cheese crumbles. (Tip: Don’t add the goat cheese or almonds until you are ready to eat.)

It’s healthy, nutritious and full of flavor & crunch! 
Usually I just use a Fuji or Honeycrisp apple, but the other day at the store, I came across Envy apples from New Zealand. 
They were on sale so I grabbed a bunch! 
I love apples in the Fall! 
These apples are delicious! They remind me of a Granny Smith mixed with a Braeburn. Sweet, tart, & crisp in each bite! 
Their unique flavor makes my salad so much more flavorful. 
Recipe for this Kale Apple Salad with walnut halves: - 1/2 apple, diced - Handful Kale, washed & chopped - Handful of walnut halves - 1/2 teaspoon Walnut oil - 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or lemon juice - Dash of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt to taste

Dressing/Marinade:
2 tsp lemon zest, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 large garlic clove minced, 1/2 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp black pepper
Chicken:
1 large chicken breast , halved horizontally* OR 2 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp Extra lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Salad:
2 tbsp finely chopped dill
8 cups cos/romaine lettuce , chopped (or other lettuce)
1 cup cherry tomatoes , halved
1 medium avocado , quartered and sliced thickly
1/2 red onion , small, finely sliced
3/4 cup corn kernels , fresh or canned drained
120g/ 4 oz bacon , cooked then chopped (optional)

1. Place Dressing ingredients in a jar. Shake well.
2. Place chicken in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp Dressing, 1 tbsp extra lemon juice, plus a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well. Marinate min 20 min up to 24 hrs.
3. Cook over medium high. Halved breasts: 2 min each side. Thigh: 4 min each side.
Transfer to plate, cover loosely with foil for 3 minutes. Slice.
4. Salad: Add dill into remaining dressing. Shake. Place remaining salad ingredients in a bowl. Top with chicken. Drizzle dressing all over. Crumble over bacon if using. Serve immediately!

For dressing, I either put balsamic vinegar + apple cider vinegar + lemon + coconut aminos (or just one of this list if I’m feeling #simplicity ) OR I drizzle some tahini with it all. Smoked paprika is my favorite spice to add because it tastes like barbecue😋

Usually, this type of salad is made with a lot of mayo, but this healthier version tastes just as good (if not even better). Back home we would often make it for New Year, so I can wait to make this version for the upcoming holidays 🎉🎄The original recipe is from @onelightshot and below is how I combined it 🍴 Enjoy 😘

Ingredients:
"Mayo" - 150g potato
- 1 tbps olive oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- salt & pepper to taste
Veggies
- peas
- pickles
- carrot
- apple (not a veggie, I know 😜)
- corn
You can add different veggies, but I think apple and pickles really give it a nice taste. I also tried with adding tuna and  chicken 👌🏼 1. Cook potato. When it cools down blend it in the food processor
2. Add all other "mayo" ingredients and blend until you get a smooth mixture.
3. Chop the veggies is small pieces and add into the "mayo"
4. Keep in fridge (I had it for 7 days and it was still good). #salad #saladrecipe

So since it might be one of the last alfresco days we get in London this year 😢, i thought id share one of my absolute fave summer inspired salad combo’s - 
Super simple and full of all the good shiz. 
How to; 
Roughly chop Red Cabbage, Fresh Beets & Coriander and dress in S&P, Olive Oil and a generous helping of Balsamic Vinegar ( I like to sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top for crunch)  Serve as a side at your BBQ or have with some Vegan Caramelised Onion Sausages - whatever floats ya boat. 
I  have beetroot most mornings in my veggie juice as its so high in fibre ( ie, great for digestion ) and is an excellent source of folic acid, manganese and potassium

Red cabbage is rich in Vitamin C,  so utterly fabulous for boosting your immune system and loaded with polyphenols (strong dietary antioxidants, possessing anti-inflammatory properties and fibre) which as a psoriasis sufferer anyhing with anti inflammatory properties is my bestie bestie, she ma bestie. 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ .

Всё просто накидала слоями, резать лучше помельче, чем у меня, будет вкуснее. 👍

Рецепт 1.
Листья салата, варёное или обжаренное мясо, огурец, фасоль консервированная, авокадо. К этому салату подойдёт сметённый соус или майонез. Так же можно добавить немного молотого перца или других приправ на ваш вкус.

Руккола, кукуруза консервированная, рис отварной, авокадо, огуоец, помидор, куриные наггетсы, порезанные кусочками, перец молотый, оливковое масло, лимонный сок.

Spinach 🍃, cucumber 🥒, baby plum tomatoes 🍅, red onion, avocado 🥑, beetroot and carrot salad, mixed marinated olives with feta cheese and 🍯 honey roast salmon flakes 🐟. So delicious! I didn’t put any dressing on it, because the olives were in olive oil and the beetroot salad was very juicy. I only drizzled it with a little Louisiana Red Hot sauce. Yummy! 🥗

As how I celebrate my weekend holiday, I must post a picture with variety of food but these days not feeling good. The only comfort food that I wanted was good plate of salad. Salad- cut red bell pepper, gerkin, Arugula and mango, drizzle 1 table spoon olive oil with 1/2 tea spoon dried thyme and oregano, pinch of salt.
Steak- marinate mix ( 1 tea spoon chili powder and garlic powder,pinch of salt. 3 table spoon soy sauce, 3 tamarind pieces, 1/2 tea spoon fresh pepper) cover the steak well with sauce and cook till desired level.

Cook 1 cup black lentils in water for 20 min. Strain and let cool. Chop fresh pumpkin into small pieces and roast for 20 min with some olive oil and salt. Chop up lots of herbs (cilantro,  parsley,  dill, celery), add dried cranberries, chopped green apples and top with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. .

So for the last few days I have been dumping my tummy with all kinda food (of course vegetarian,as we were traveling a lot), finally giving it a little rest with this vegan 🥗 salad.to my surprise my son's favorite was broccoli 😛
And for the very first time used avocado (tasted bitter by the way, not sure what's its original taste is, I need to explore about it)
Though lettuce tomatoes and onions are missing,it tasted really good,as my munchkin also enjoyed having it 🤷

The most delicious salad I've ever had!  Arugula salad with onions, roasted beets and pomegrenate arils, all topped off with buttery crunchy pecans! Can you almost taste all the flavours and feel all the textures? Sweetness from the beets, crunch from the pecans, freshness from the pomegrenate, not to mention the arugula dressed in a walnut oil and pomegrenate molasses vinaigrette. All components are tied together in such a perfect way, giving a salad packed with pink yumminess that is not only wonderful to look at but also to eat 😋

You guys have to try this! It is delicious as a side to pretty much any rice based dish, or as a light healthy lunch on its own 😍
