I truly get to meet some of the kindest, most generous and most incredible people in this lifetime... The lovely Belgian couple that I helped with their mast the other day came over to me yesterday with a big blue bag and said, because it’s Mandela Day and they knew what I did yesterday, they wanted to make a little donation to what I’m doing. Inside the bag, a brand spanking new, never been used before, dinghy... and it comes with two attachable oars too! 😎🙌🏻⛵️ UNFLIPPINGBELIEVABLE!!! I had no idea what to say or how to thank them enough, completely mindblown at their kindness and generosity. They’d obviously seen me struggling with my old dinghy previously that had been lying under a pile of stuff in a workshop for a few years that was full of leaks, needing to be pumped up even after an hour, virtually all the handles etc were missing and I seriously would not be able to afford a new one right now since I’m broke AF these days, so had to make do with what I had...then this happens... gosh... like when my Dad donated my little outboard motor, the kindness experienced is enough to make you instantly feel like you’ve got something in your eye and bursting with appreciation 🤗
Gosh man, I’m not quite sure what I’ve done to deserve all of this, I know I’ve been helpful to people in the past but one thing I live by is I never give with the expectation of receiving anything in return, never have, never will, but this is just truly amazing on another level.
A massive thanks to Jos and Yu Chen for their incredible kindness 🤗🤗🤗
A piece of me right now. I have the tendency to seclude myself when I feel overwhelmed by lifes bumps and turns. I especially stay away because this is a business I am trying to make into something and I wouldn't ever want to steer y'all away. However, I recognize that Lovinity manifested from all these hardships that I need to continuously #overcome , including life long #depression . Which is #triggered by many #circumstances , sometimes very random. I dont want it, I do the work but it'll still sneek up and win for periods of time. Lovinity was meant to help others see their light during the dark hours. Its #powered by my overwhelming love, want, need and all else in between of wanting to help others #shine . It turns out, we all feel and go through the same emotions and fears from time to time. Afterall, we are all #human no matter how hard you try to convince yourself otherwise. I struggle, you #struggle , we all struggle. Life is life, here we are. Reaching out for support is key. So, here I am, without detail but saying HEY, I dont wanna be in the dark anymore... I want to get back to what Ive set #sail to... We can only #accept and #adjust aaaand #visualize , #dream and #hope !
While seven of eight #p_cap 2018 #artists have left the island and their beautiful #installations behind, @michaelsebastianhaas has returned to install the last piece of the contemporary #art project: his #kinetic#sculpture „Avlaki“ at the beach of the same name. The #sail is ready, now it’s all about a solid setup....we‘re counting the days! Stay tuned @paxosprojects
