Crossing the border from Kenya to Tanzania was an experience I’ll never forget.... Crossing the border by car- driving through the rural towns and villages- I wish I got to spend more time and experience more than just driving past... and when we had to cross the border with not only Kenya but also Tanzania authorities, it was nerve-racking and scary due to various reasons within my family: all sorts of documentation requirements, your travel immunization certificates (Ebola breakout and yellow fever are still serious issues), your temp gets taken before you are granted in and one person in our family was questionably feverish!!! The list goes on... and in foreign countries, especially here, you can never be so sure of anything when it comes to how you’ll be treated as a foreigner, can you... Traveling to Africa to go on safari is already a luxury in and of itself. 🙏🏼 To go on safari with my entire family- was another luxury most can never get. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 This isn’t a “vacation.” This isn’t a typical “tourist” trip. This is TRAVELING. Into the unknown, into truly foreign land where it takes a level of patience, humility, and open-mindedness to not be fearful or judgmental, and truly experience how surpassing that really makes long distance trekking and being nervous such as on a day crossing borders in a tough country with an entirely different language, culture, and government, (and going broke doing it), all SO WORTH IT. I wish I could reach the 2 locals that helped my family cross the border safely without any setbacks... I thanked them profusely when we parted ways, but if only they knew still how much they meant to us on our trip... #traveldeeper .
Just had my bestie to stay, she gifted me this oh so easy chic dress!great part is, although it's light to wear and dresses up or down, in the heat it's still opaque, hence- no brassiere needed!( not that I need one anyway hehehe😂)- great option for us lasses in the tropics! I have completed the look with baby croc belt( gift from dear and v stylish Dad),& thrifty chic sandals from Rubi shoes, loving it!
Thank you dear Anna, you always get it right! 😘😘👯🥂🍾#sistersbeforemisters#hotelsunrise#champagnediva#livelikeafrenchgirl#noosachic#safaristyle
TWO OF A KIND 🐯🌿🐯
When I was pregnant I always wondered... will it be twins?
I love the bond that my twin sisters have and it runs in our family so was slightly disappointed but when I see these two I think they have that bond anyway. They love each other ridiculous amounts so I’m sure they’ll be besties forever 🧡 and of course I’ll be twinning their outfits until they’re teens!
These beautifully designed pjs are from @lolaandblakedesigns - I love the traditional pjs I’m in love with everything monstera. They’ve given us 15% off to share with you, just use EMILIAJACOB15 for discount.
Also... have you read ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’?
It’s the cutest story, one of our favs! They’re doing a theatre show I’m tempted to take them to.
