I think it’s true that If we don’t use it, we lose it. It’s sure true for me. I start to feel stuck in my life situation and can feel my whole body contracting, especially my heart, when I don’t do some kind of conscious movement that brings me joy, whether it’s dancing in the kitchen to music I ♥️, taking a brisk walk, doing some T’ai Chi or yoga. .
It really doesn’t matter how we “dance”, it’s just crucial to our mental and physical health that we fit some form of conscious movement, especially the kind that uplifts our spirit, into our every day life. So here’s to creating many happy, moving moments during this busy holiday season! 🥰💃🎵 .

Magical Monday Message Nemetona - Sacred Grove Sacred Space
We are reminded to create sacred space & visit sacred spaces to enhance our lives.⭐
The Winter Solstice approaching, along with the Full Moon this weekend, is an energetically elevated time💫
One where our connection within & to Spirit is more palpable; more enlivened.💫
Creating an altar, shrine, or visiting a sacred place can help youn connect more consistently & intentionally to the grace of life 💛
Sitting in/at sacred spaces during these times allows you to harness their innate beauty & potency.🔥💫🌟
Symbols & the energy of sacred spaces have been infused with meaning and prayer over centuries💫
As you connect to these symbols & places, you help your inner sanctity find a home in the outer world.💛
You tap into the ancient wisdom & spiritual grace of the old ways🌟
You don't have to travel halfway around the world ~ but you might?!👌😍
Local lore can guide you to high energy places. You may also already feel a deep connection to a space in nature where you feel elevated, comforted, full?!💚
A personal shrine or altar doesn't have to be expensive or overly ornate. 👍🏽
A corner of a bedroom, or small shelf, holding items that symbolize what's sacred to you...which help you return home to yourself💓
A sacred place you can gaze upon, or sit with, regularly...consistently will enrich your life in ways you couldn't imagine...both subtle & profound!💫🌟💜
Create a ceremony or ritual to honour your deepest desires, letting go of the past, growth & connection to the Universal heart.
Now, is always the time to open to the sacred within you & all around you 🌟💜💫💜🌟 #MagicalMondayMessage#sacred#energy#sacredreminders#sacredspaces#sacredplaces#mothernaturelove#ceremony#ritual#consistency#deeplistening#innerwisdom#innerpeace#connect#Spirit#cleanse#dailypractice#altar#shrine#spiritualsymbols#spiritualvacay#spiritualstaycay
I'm coming up on week 6 of my travels through India. So far, no Delhi Belly (knock on wood), not too many mosquito bites, and not too much time spent shuffling through throngs of people. Aka it's been a great trip so far - my best one yet! .
It might be hard to tell based on my social media posts, but I'm a big spiritual junkie. I've been one since high school, when my girlfriend introduced me to Buddhism, the beats, transcendental philosophy, and the Unity Temple. We read Thoreau and learned about Vedanta (some of the core yogic teachings) through his western lens. And ever since my first trip to India in 2008, I've allowed yoga philosophy to shape my life into a wide-open sea of wonder, and magic, and freedom. I'll be in India on-and-off until May 2019, and there is nowhere else I'd rather be... .
I hope wherever you are in the world, you also feel open, curious, and free. Love! 💙
Repost from @sacredspaces31 - Giddy up for our Sacred Spaces episode on @c31melbourne tonight at 6pm - walking you through our recently completed world-class arts facility at @unimelb Southbank Campus - The Stables.
Originally built in 1912, The Stables was formerly the Victoria Police Mounted Branch stables, where our Project Manger Paul Christian and Contract Manager Chris Gatacre, believe the most significant part of the refurbishment is the restoration of six original horse stalls.
It is the only original part of the renovated and refurbished building that reveals how the stables were originally when occupied by horses. Today The Stables provides students in the Faculty of Fine Arts a building of opportunity with ties to it’s heritage.

Beautiful dry-stacked lava rock platforms and walls at Pu'uhonua o Honaunau - a sacred Hawaiian site that has both royal lands and a place of refuge (pu'uhonua) where those who broke kapu (taboo) could avoid death (the punishment for kapu breaking).
This pu'uhonua dates to 1550 CE but was abandoned in 1829 after King Kamehameha II abandoned the kapu system and Queen Ka'ahumanu ordered the ancestral bones of the Kamehameha dynasty removed. In 1920 it became a county park and in 1978 a National Historic Site.
Big Sunday self care mood after a perfect night spent with an amazing crew and @wellthcollective x @publichotels 💓 we chatted about self directed neuroplasticity and the upcoming Capricorn season and gave ourselves time to take inventory for the last year and see what we are stepping into next. Two questions for you to think about in the next few days:
• what is something that you are proud of yourself for- or grateful for- this last year? What is an intention, prayer or wish you had last year that you saw actualize in 2018?
• what is a one buzzword or theme you want to call in for 2019? (E.g. courage, joy, love, freedom, abundance)
Let us know, fam 💓

Trinity Episcopal church located in the heart of Abbeville, SC was built in 1859, and is a prime example of Gothic Revival architecture in South Carolina. There are many unique features of this church, but the most prominent is the stained glass windows which were manufactured by William Gibson, who is considered to be “the father of stained glass”. There are only five William Gibson stained glass windows left in the United States.
Happy Sunday Sweethearts!!!❤❤❤

There are places you read about in books & magazines that capture your imagination, invoke curiosity & induce wanderlust of epic proportions. .
Perched high above Paro & built into a soaring cliff-face, the Tigers Nest Monastery has always been one of these places for me since I first saw it in an old geography textbook many years ago. And last year I had the opportunity to experience it firsthand. What an incredible place...
Tigers Nest is also known as Taktsang Monastery & is one of the most iconic & venerated Buddhist monuments in the Himalayas. Set into a cliff face 2600ft above the Paro Valley, Tigers Nest takes its name from a mythical journey made by Lord Padmasambawa, Guru Rinpoche, who flew there on a tigeress’ back in order to meditate for 3 years, 3 months, 3 days & 3 hours & convert the valley to Buddhism.
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.” - Dalai Lama XIV
Yesterday I set the intention to get a new flat surfaced, low to the ground sacred space. After breakfast and crystal shopping, a sign! ✨ESTATE SALE✨
Followed the signs.
Reminded the universe.

Last night I was walking home and was filled with the most immense joy to be alive. Listening to one of my favorite songs (€30,000 by @emperorx), I was so grateful to be feeling my heart and my body that I ran down the street, skipping and jumping through the crowds. Twirling and twirling until I became dizzy, I remembered what it felt like to be a child completely in awe of the mystery of the world. May we all live in the wonder ⭐️
In my past life when I used to be a touring rapper (casual mention lol) I would always pass this rock formation. This is Shiprock. Once we would pass this formation we (me and the 7 other dudes in the mini van) would start talking about the expected.. topics of aliens and shape shifters. I didn’t know the legend behind it and I find it quite interesting, as I was reading somewhere that some theorists are saying that the kundalini of the new earth is emerging in the Navajo Mountains. ⠀
“Known today most commonly by the name Shiprock, the 1700-foot eroded volcanic plume is sacred to the Navahos as Tse Bi dahi, or the Rock with Wings. This name comes from an ancient folk myth that tells how the rock was once a great bird that transported the ancestral people of the Navahos to their lands in what is now northwestern New Mexico. ⠀
The Navaho ancestors had crossed a narrow sea far to the northwest (the Berring Strait?) and were fleeing from a warlike tribe. Tribal shamans prayed to the great spirit for help. Suddenly the ground rose from beneath their feet to become an enormous bird. ⠀
For an entire day and night the bird flew south, finally settling at sundown where Shiprock now stands. Geologists tell us the rock was formed 12 million years ago during the Pliocene. ⠀
The legend of the rock seems more likely to be a metaphor hinting of the site's magical power to lift the human soul above the problems of daily existence into an awareness of the great spirit. ⠀
From ancient times to the more recent past, Tse Bi dahi was indeed a pilgrimage place of major importance, the destination of young men engaged in the rigors of solitary vision quests. The rock was climbed in 1939. Since 1970, Shiprock has been off limits to climbers, accorded once again the respect due a Navaho sacred place.” - sacredsites.com⠀
It took eight years from when I first felt called to herbalism to start learning about the brilliance of plants. Two years ago I began an apprenticeship at @sacredvibesapothecary . I was pregnant then, and so lost in that experience, but sitting in a circle of intensely wise women every week in that sweet apothecary was grounding and guiding part of my pregnancy. A few months after giving birth, I signed up to continue studying with @sacredwarrior7 at @loveisjuniper . Once a month for the first year of my life as a mother I showed up to bags of fresh herbs from @sawmill_herbfarm that I talked with, walked with, dried, burned, and extracted. .
Today is my last day with @sacredwarrior7 . After these two years, I am only just beginning to know these plants and who they are to me. They seem to already know. They are just waiting for me to catch up. I feel gratitude for that. .
It's truly so lovely and HUMBLING when a regular customer tells you how much they appreciate your presence in their life. Today I introduced them to the ancient worlde of natural incense. Both the husband and wife were enthralled and wanted to burn Frankincense and Myrrh for Xmas, so I explained the process and benefits to them. The wife then decided to buy a terracotta charcoal burner. She said she doesn't like buying things that clutter the house, but using that new burner will remind her of me everytime she uses it. And she said she's loved having me in her life because I'm such a beautiful soul. Awwwwwh schucks! It's moments like these when I realize my little steps do make a difference! I've always based my life on the ripples a pebble creates in a pond..... 🙏🕉💙 #rippleeffect#littlethingsmatter#neverdoubtyoumakeadifference#powerofherbs#ancientalchemy#ancientwisdom#ancientherbs#ancientresins#ancientways#sacredspaces
