Rapé is legal sacred shamanic snuff medicine. (which is pronounced ‘ha-peh’ in English)
They are very powerful, precious, profound healing and cleansing medicine. They are made in a very sacred manner and labour intensive process, consisting of various Amazonian medicinal plants, trees, leaves, seeds, and other sacred ingredients. Some types of rapé are made by various indigenous tribes, who originate from different South American countries – primarily Brazil and Peru.
Traditionally, they are applied by using a pipe made from bamboo or bone, which is blown through each nostril on both sides. They can be self-administered using a V-shaped self-applicator pipe, which connects the mouth to the nostrils. Alternatively, the can be administered by another person using a blow pipe, which connects the blower’s mouth to the other person’s nostrils. The self-applicator pipe is known as ‘Kuripe’, and the blow pipe is know as a ‘Tepi’ in the Brazilian tradition.
. I experienced Rapé for the first time 6 months ago. I remember how unbalanced i felt prior to that experience,my intention was to ground and connect with ancestors. That’s exactly what happened. What a Journey this year has been. I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for the sacred medicines that have found me.
I’ve had a few ask questions and wondering where to start. Well im so honored to say that I’ve crossed paths with a beautiful Medicine Woman like @lovebell888 and how the universe brought me to her thanks to my soul sister @gemmmsss__ .
It's a beautiful assistant for healing: 🌿helps to re-align and open all your chakras •improves your grounding •releases any sickness on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels (dis-EASE) • opens-up the third eye, de-calcifies the pineal gland •clears any mental confusion/foggy mind •releases any negative thoughts •removes any entities •connects you to your divine breath •elevates your connection with Spirit.
Each different type of rapé has different vibrations, notes, qualities, subtleties, and very different effects on the energetic field.
Dm me to purchase #rape#hape from the jungle of Brazil and Peru🙏 Also self applicators 🙌
SACRED What does it mean to hold things sacred? I have been pondering this as I continue to unpack whiteness and capitalism and their influence within my life. I’m not sure that I can know sacredness truly means. I can hold it, but I think I am only really holding a fraction of its strength.
I made a commitment to Lavender on this New Moon, to work with them for a year and a day. To reawaken the sacredness of this plant in my bloodline. To learn about where they come from and how they wove into the fabric of French life. There is so much I don’t know! To start I am just noticing them in the world and greeting them. Introducing myself. Using my manners. We have a relationship already, but I want to step into that studentship and greet my teachers with respect and humbleness. Today I am watching them dance with bees and trying to catch their scent in the air.
What plants are sacred to you?
How do you greet them?
So happy to find fresh Tulsi on this remote island in Maine! 💓💓💓💓💓 So grateful to whoever grew this sacred plant 🙏🏻 The deeper we connect, the more we listen to the plants, and make offerings, the more they show up to support 🌿
Feast your eyes on my beauty. I am the irresistible. Imagine me now, as you!

I am attar of girl in the intoxicating, flowerscent of the feminine draped in the silk of flesh, oozing estrogen and the summer’s scent.

My eyes bewitch you from behind my long dark locs. The dark moon, transitioning from fullness to newness! Awakening ~
What have you learned? ~ I am waiting. Speak to me, I’ll listen with my head and heart.
We are the tenacious dandelions, we are the nourishing rose, we will rise with the lotus and root down deep with the burdock! We will honor our ancestry, through ceremony and ritual!!! Honor Mother Earth through prayer and respect! Honor each other through love and compassion! 🌘🌑🌒

Do you ever feel like certain plants are calling out to you? (is that the veriditas or am I a crazy plant lady? Probably both.) I believe that all of creation is waiting for us to become our true selves and live honest lives. It’s trembling with the yearning for us to notice and follow the sacred, slow rhythm in which it grows.

I’ve always thought magnolias are beautiful but they seem to be catching my eye and taking my breath away more lately.
SYMBOLICALLY, magnolias represent Luna, Yin and dignity. They’re some of the oldest plants on earth; based on fossils, scientists think that they were first ever flower to bloom.
MEDICINALLY, magnolia bark is anxiolytic (anti-anxiety,) anti-emetic (prevents nausea,) opens up air passages and treats loss of appetite.
PERSONALLY, my favourite song right now is a song from @gangofyouths called Magnolia. And every time I see the magnolias across the street from my apartment, I think of the lyrics, “just tell everyone I know what I did, I did for us and in haste, ‘cause I’m terrified of dying in vain. There’s no way tonight as far, as I know, that heaven will take me so I’m staggering home. All wretched and wild. All glory and trash.” & I am reminded by each huge petal that they only way to bloom is to open yourself up. And that is brave. And being unashamed of your openness is the personification of dignity.

When on an herb walk in the late-spring, another herbalist told me that she thinks that Lemon Balm is my spirit herb because I noticed it EVERYWHERE. It was like my senses were fine tuned to smell it’s sweet citrus scent.
It was the sacred herb of the goddess Artemis because bees were believed to be messengers of her blessing + bees LOVE lemon balm.
Lemon balm soothes the gut, fights anxiety and insomnia, calms the spiralling thoughts that come with depressive OCD. It helps those of us with ADHD to really hone in on the task at hand & it can stop a panic attack dead on its tracks if you take it as you feel yourself getting overwhelmed (this is tried and true.)
Lemon balm is an essential. She calls me to live centered and true.
If you are longing to caress the moon,
Don’t turn away from it!
If you are not Ill,
Why do you crawl under a blanket to hide?
You are in a quarry of sweets,
Why do you look so sour?
You live in the spring of life.
Why are you withered inside?
Don’t fight against yourself!
Don’t flee from what could be your glory!
Like a fearless moth,
Dive into the flame.
Why be linked to your obsessions?
Burn out in the flames,
Until your heart and soul are enlightened.
Get out of the old carcass
And form yourself a new body.
Why are you afraid of a fox
When you descend from lions?
Why be a lame ass
When you have the strength of stallions?
The beloved you seem will arrive
To open the door to your fortune,
For love is the key
That opens all your locks.
We were walking up the hot steps to the Liston old fort in Corfu Town (a world heritage UNESCO site) and we spotted tiny vervain leaves. We'd been thinking they might be around as we trotted around Paxos but we didn't find any.
Tiny glimpses of her made us connect with our intuition. And then Luma spotted her, by the clock tower of the old fort. Her straggly stems and pretty flowers were a feast for our eyes in the heat.
Looking at vervain, I have always thought her to look like a plant who would love hotter climes. Seeing her here today with her cooling bitter power was a joy as we had just dipped in the choppy warm sea by the fort as it was dry and hot. Slightly dripping, we found her.
When I first saw some growing wild in my mama's lawn as she let it grow one year so I could harvest yarrow and the bees would be happy, I felt her joining all the dots in my training as a herbalist. Here she was, my favourite new plant, growing right there in my childhood stomping ground. I'd never seen her before. I spent the night sleeping out there it was so magical a moment.
When I see her in a new place, I get that same feeling - like I'm treading the right path as it twists and turns and sometimes I'm not sure if ibe made the right decision. She is testament to me that I have. Of all the plants, she is my friend.
With great joy, we start this campaign to finalize the project of the documentary Eskawatã Kayawai, which we started last year during the IV edition of the Festival Huni Kuin Eskawatã Kayawai, in partnership with Bem-te-vi Produções.
After two months in Amazon with the Huni Kuin people filming a documentary about their culture, the project needs your support for its completion. After a long process of rediscovering their roots and ancestrality, remembering their culture once forbidden and censored, the Huni Kuin finally enters a new era, the time of the indigenous right. In harmony with nature, they began sharing their culture around the world with their knowledge, culture and spirituality from the forest, their own cultural festivals where they gather the indigenous with the non indigenous, creating a great cultural apex. The idea of this project was to make a short film that eventually became something much larger than once imagined, having many interviews with spiritual leaders and shamans, participating of ceremonies and cure practices with the forest medicines. So now, in co-production with Marcos Vinicius Romao (Co-Organizer of the Festival Eskawatã Kayawai) and Francisco De Assis Mateus de Lima (Spiritual leader of Novo Futuro Village) we have a feature film in hands and we need funds to finish this film with all professionals involved, so we can share their story and bring their healing power around the world.
Get involved and support us on this beautiful project, link of the campaign: https://gogetfunding.com/hunikuin/
#taxusbaccata May you be left to grow to a ripe old 1000! A rare offering from Sacred Succulents of Sebastopol (but what do they offer that isn’t rare?!). They grew this baby from English seed and he is 15 years old. He was a big investment but I am so excited to watch him grow! #slowmagic#yew#sacredplants#homesteadlife#sightunseen
🌻Sacred Geometry🌻Three volunteer sunflowers have been opening up over the past couple weeks which to me signifies joy, hope and appreciation for the sun, warmth and life itself. There are lots of changes going on over here... new BIG projects- more on that later. Im so excited to be on this journey with all of you.
Saying goodbye to the Land of the White Buffalo: the plains of Colorado. Free-running horses, antelope and buffalo bless this sacred land. Eagles overhead mark the ever-presence of Great Spirit, our Father Sky watching over us. Great start to our International Tour! Next stop: Tuscany, Italy.
ALHARMA (Peganum harmala)
I’m so excited to start sharing the medicines ive been working on with my online friends too! The medicine ill be sharing is much more than a physical bottle of medicine. Its medicine of, from and for the Heart. .
One of the reasons I changed up all the medicine I was making is because I really wanted to express a deeper (and realer) side of myself through this medium(that is herbalism), but more than that, I wanted to honour my truth; I believe the deepest healing comes from returning to Self, looking inwards, Self Love, meditation and of course, connection with nature. I believe that disease can be(and usually IS) a doorway to awakening and I encourage people to explore their disease in all the ways physically capable. And when in need of herbs as allies seek out a really reliable medical or clinical herbalist who is 👏🏼TRULY👏🏼 holistic or vitalist. .
As for my new offerings, I have rooted them in strong intention for each cup, dropper-full, or bath to be a ritual, a ceremony, or a practice to infuse yourself with the moment. My hope with my new offerings is that the plants, and the rituals I speak of can help open the space for deep connection with Self and Heart. I believe the most important work to do these days is get to know who we truly are. Because when we have even just a glimpse into our divine truth that is where we begin to step into our Power. And when people are IN their power that is how we can change the world. #islerose
