My latest column - what else to write about but science week?
I really do love science week, and am grateful to have opportunities to share my knowledge and passion for science
Having grown up in a rural area, and now living and working in a regional area, I’m really aware that there are so many more opportunities to attend events and activities if you live in a major city. Looking through events for this week I see so many AMAZING things I’d love to go to - but the majority are all far away in big cities. I feel like once again people living more remotely miss out on a lot of the really great stuff
Science is just as fun, and just as important, out in the bush as it is in the city, so it makes me a little sad 😞 .
Anyway, here’s the link: https://www.theherald.com.au/comment/your-say/5581970/regions-deserve-more-science-week-love/
After 8 amazing and busy months of contracting with the Tomorrow Man team, I'm excited and privileged to announce my official appointment earlier this month as National Programs Manager.
Tomorrow Man is a learning and development organisation who work in corporate organisations, schools, sporting clubs and blue-collar corporations supporting teams and individuals to grow their emotional muscle - basically just to be badass humans!
Utilising elite group facilitation and through engaging modern, relevant and directly applicable interventions, the facilitation team create environments for men young and old from all walks of life to challenge what it is to be a man in today’s world. Our program seeks out and embodies an attractive, relevant and modern alternative to an archaic stereotype and creates a more flexible version of tomorrow's man that resonates and speaks to the mainstream male.
Through the work and impact evaluations we are observing and recording an acute and long term growing determination within Australian men who are igniting a fierce commitment to connect, seek help for the first time in their lives and understand what it means to look out for their mates.
Follow the journey @tomorrowman_au. #youcantalk

Today is A FIVER FOR A FARMER Day! How CUTE☺️The school kids dressed as Farmers and donated $5 each to drought relief
Farmers in rural Australia are in dire straights. As costs spiral and conditions worsen, even putting food on the table is becoming too hard for some families. ☀️
Aussie 10 year old legend @jackymanb came up with the concept. "Show them we care because if we don't help them, who will?” Go to https://afiverforafarmer.com.au to give them 5 bucks! 👨🌾👩🌾
Adults get a chance to do this too!!! This Friday @hit105brisbane are encouraging workplaces to join the movement! Get your flanney shirts on and a fiver out peeps! 🙏🏼
Very very proud moment!
As we moved to this part of Australia from WA, we are very proud of this journey our truckies are making ❤
Repost from @mainroadswesternaustralia
From 7am today, a convoy of over 20 trucks will begin their journey from Northam to NSW, delivering much needed hay - donated and sourced from WA 👏
If you find yourself behind them please be patient #droughtrelief
