I recently started meditating. I have added it to my morning run along the river! I found this beautiful, quiet spot where I can sit uninterrupted for 10 minutes and breathe. I feel so much calmer and level headed! I love doing it in the morning to start my day off right! Right now I use guided meditation @headspace because I am still so new to it! Excited to see the full benefits over the next couple months! 💕
This is 40! ♌️🤓 Vegan 4 years now & still alive somehow!
Haven’t died of “protein deficiency” or anorexia, despite eating only one meal a day & doing a superfood/waterfast regimen since last December! #OMAD
No longer a spring chicken but feeling MUCH healthier than I was in my early 30s, when I was eating meat & dairy & weighing around 240-250 consistently & generally being asleep at the wheel. 😴😴😴 I’m 205-210 consistently now.
40s are going to be groundbreakingly amazing. We have no other choice but to start deciding & announcing our positive intentions for manifestation at this point.
I’m not a big “birthday” guy- I think they’re silly tbh- but my longtime partner & mother of our 3 children Sara (♌️) & I got full body massages & pool time at a spot near the Russian river & Armstrong woods. SO grateful.
It’s rare to get time alone for parents of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old & 10 month old.

Grounding/Earthing is EXTREMELY beneficial & always feels great to me. I hope you’re enjoying it too.
My feet cannot be touched by anyone (too ticklish), but the Earth feels like a perfect match for them.

Smoothie beachin 🌿🍌😎
-My go-to smoothie, I drink this baby ALMOST every morning. Today it was 2 bananas, 4-5 cups of spinach, 2 heaping tbsps of @daily.green.boost (which I absolutely love), 1 tsp Spirulina, 1 cup of soy milk💪🏽 , and a few cups of 9.5pH Kangen water 💧
This made 2 mason jars of smoothie so I only drank one and saved the other for tomorrow! Normally I would drink both!
Heute hat es bei 37 Grad ☀️ zu nicht viel mehr gereicht als zu nem #Spaziergang im #Stadtwald . Dort fühlt es sich etwas kühler an. Anstrengend ist es trotzdem 😦
Ich habe nen Abstecher auf die #AlteVeste gemacht. Da war ich schon länger nicht mehr oben, auch wenn ich bei meinen langen Läufen oft dort vorbei gekommen bin. Schön, dass sich durch #Verletzung und #Hitze mal wieder solche Gelegenheiten ergeben! 👍☺️
Außerdem habe ich unterwegs ganz viele #Brombeeren gepflückt. Dadurch war ich insgesamt noch ca 45 Minuten länger unterwegs. Plus Weg zum Wald hin und zurück mit dem Rad. Auch wenn das alles nicht wahnsinnig viel oder aufregend war, bin ich jetzt einfach nur kaputt und todmüde.
Morgen muss ich bei dem Wetter auch noch mittags mal in die Arbeit 😱 Da soll es ja noch heißer werden ☀️☀️☀️
Holy shit. I still haven’t processed all of it, or recovered, but my team #badassladygang killed it in a 24 hour triathlon relay. ☠️⚡️ we met our goal of 15 triathlons in 24 hours as a team. I didn’t really have an individual goal going into this. Besides proving to myself that I can do hard things and never giving up. I definitely achieved both goals by completing 5 triathlons myself in 24 hours. I swam for the first time ever and I swam 1.25 miles. I kind of learned how to shift on the bike I was using and completed 50 miles on the bike. And I ran 10 grueling miles through the middle of the night. I couldn’t have done any of this without my team and the amazing running community in the pit at the event. I’m forever grateful for this event and @racelighthouse ❤️ it’s hard to put into words how this kind of event feels. I tried to document most of it in my stories/highlights. But you have to be there to feel it. I’m going to keep doing hard things and pushing myself because of this crazy, supportive community around me that will literally give you the shirt (or wetsuit 😜) right off their back. (Side note, this is not my wetsuit, someone literally gave it to me off their back, no questions asked. I borrowed someone’s bike because I don’t have one and can’t afford one right now, and I wore a teammates clean sports bra home because I had nothing to wear.) 🙌🏼these are my people.
