Another beautiful morning, another run at the Canyon, another car 😂 .
Callie dog has become my personal trainer. On the run out she trains in resistance... she stops dead to sniff or chase something in the other direction whilst attached to my waste. On the run back she trains in speed workout... she runs faster than I’m pretty sure any human ever whilst attached to my waist. She also demands warm up and cool down walking intervals, it’s a full workout! Going to have to run alone tomorrow I think 😂
#runningstreak day 200...I never aspired to do a running streak, heck, I never even aspired to be a runner! It just kind of happened after I ran my first mile ever 2 1/2 years ago, months after I started power walking every day! I don’t run fast, nor do I run far, but I am so grateful for every step and thankful for every day that I can run! Running clears my head of the negative and opens it up to the positive! A huge thanks to my hubby @pittsfan07 & kids for being so supportive & loving and also to my MRTT group, I wouldn’t be running if it wasn’t for all of them!!
418.20 miles in 200 days...to be continued...God willing!! 😃🏃🏼♀️🙏🏻❤️

the streak continues with an easy mile today 👌🏽who else here is a streaker? 😂 just starting it up again myself, and we’ll see how long I last this time! last time around I made it 176 days before taking a day off because I started to really not enjoy running. no promises, but 200 days of running sounds not unappealing 😜
STREAK WITH TAMI
It was a gorgeous day for a run in Portland today. I hit my peak mileage before I begin my tapering mileage in preparation for the California International Marathon on 12/2.
Lucky for me I had some good company along to motivate me today.
It’s time for a reminder though, that we are 11 days away from Thanksgiving and the 3rd Annual Streak With Tami. I hope you’ll play along, and please invite others. Everyone is welcome!We’ll see if we can trend on Insta someday. Here’s how to do it:
Every day from November 22 (that’s Thanksgiving Day) through December 24, run or walk for at least one mile per day. Take a picture of your view and post it on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter or wherever and include the hashtag #streakwithtami . It helps if it’s a public post, but you do you.
