Well! I wasn’t sure about posting a #runningselfie today but I did take one... er, after I fell over on my face. Ouch! 6k clocked then I tripped. Shouting at a stunned shopkeeper ‘have I still got my teeth?!!!’ Then being helped inside by a nurse called Marion who cleaned me up a bit, followed by @labrabear_grills getting me properly cleaned up and ordering a snooze and a sandwich. My chin is coming up black! Take care out there #runners#runningcommunity#runninggirl#thisgirlfell#thisgirlcan#raceforlife determined to still do the @crukraceforlife on Sunday not least because I missed it last time but also my face will recover but #cancer is still not so kind and we must keep fighting this evil disease
@womenofrunning meet @frangibar who has been an incredible support and encourager to this community! 💫
How long you have been running?
Just the last 5 years... although I’ve always practiced different sports!
Why did you start running?
I started to hike in the hills near my home, but I was so excited that I started to run in them, and thats how I fell in love with trail running.
What are your goals?
I love to run long races, and I hope to be healthy for many more years to do what I love.
Also I really enjoy encouraging women to do extraordinary things!
What technology do you use while running?
I use my Garmin Fenix 5 to see my pace and my route; I never run with music, I love to hear the sounds of nature.
Do you prefer the road or trails?
I’m a mountain girl; so I absolutely love trail running
