7 miles + 4x 20 sec strides
The weather was perfect on this run- low 50’s, sunny, and a slight breeze. So fantastic! •
Do you ever go to google something and then it autofills in a totally different question? This happens to me all the time. I mean I was wondering, “how to get rid of a cold,” and “how to get rid of fleas” is the first thing that comes up. I don’t have fleas, thank you very much 🤪. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting/humorous to see what the most popular running questions were that people asked Google. There were a lot, so I just picked my favorites and then proceeded to answer them myself. Here’s what I found:
🔘Should I wear underwear running? Well, I think this is a personal question, don’t you?! I mean if you’re wearing shorts with built in ones or tights I’m not really sure why you would as a girl. . . Guys, you are on your own!
🔘How long does it take to run a mile? I’m guessing it depends how fast you are going (trying not to eye roll here). . . I mean remember math class when you learned how to calculate time? T= D/S. Since D= 1, whatever speed per mile you are going would be how long it takes. Now if you were going 2 miles that’d just be crazy town to calculate 🤪
🔘Will running make my breasts smaller. Um, are you wanting to be a runner or are you trying to be a swimsuit model? Just kidding- my take on this is that if you are running to lose weight, this could be a result. However, if you are maintaining weight, the motion of running is not going to bounce these away.
🔘How long does it take to run a 5K? Refer to the mile question. If you are going 3.1 miles, multiply that one by your speed (10 min miles = 31 minutes). Run faster, you’ll be done faster and able to enjoy the stale half bagels and bananas sooner!
🔘What is a tempo run- this one is for you @runnerrhea. Care to answer?? 😂
At every corner I am constantly looking for ways to up my leadership skills. How can I BE more compassionate, attentive, intuitive, creative, focused?
How can I maximize my time, energy and health so that I can serve at my best?
How can I make sure I don't get too comfortable?
How can I say no more?
These questions sound familiar? You want to impact more people. You want to make more money doing it while working less. You want to spend more time with your family. You want to trust your body will go the distance with you.
That is where I invite you to start...in your body! You actually have all the tools and answers inside. Locked in your physiology. You probably sense it too. It's all there but you just can't seem to access it. You are blocked in some way from tapping into the vast wisdom your body holds for you to show up fully radiant and to be the energetic powerhouse you know you are.
I lived through that frustration. A couple Christmas' ago I would have never taken the time on a weeknight to have a glass of champagne with my mom and decorate the trees. If I did I would have been stressed out the whole time worrying about everything I 'should' have been doing. Making myself sick! Now??? I feel so grateful for these special moments. I will never miss them again. I feel excited a lot more and I am a hell of a lot nicer to be around!
Ready to finally lead your life and biz without feeling like crap all the time. Message me. Your suffering is officially over starting now. Claim it!
I wanted to to zero miles, I set a minimum of two, so overall I accomplished something. Despite some lazy moments this week I already have 22 miles logged with 18 mile (*gulp) long run scheduled for tomorrow
A partir desta interpretação, o ministro julgou parcialmente procedente a ADI 3.150.
Focused on that weekend like woah. So I may have been a tad overeager when I added in three leg days in a row early this week. Felt fine during my speed workout Tuesday and Wednesday was my scheduled rest day. Thursday morning my hammy was not having it. Same feeling I got twice last year. I immediately stopped running and called @athleticedgesportsmassage for an appointment. 30 minutes on the hammy, an afternoon of @rapidreboot and infrared sauna. Repeat today. Will repeat on Sunday. It took me a week or so last year to get over the hump and that was with me trying to run some. Just going to rest it until Monday and start fresh! You gotta listen to your body! Training is just getting started! -K #2fabfitchicks#fbf#xterraoffroad
First week of marathon training cycle is wrapping up, and boy has it been a rough week- physically, mentally, and spiritually. 13 miles today didn't feel great, but I rode the pain train to the very end and chalked it up to a mental victory. Ready for a break from work/life and have some fun times in warm, sunny Florida!
I’ve seen a few Friday intros today, and thought I’d hop on the bandwagon! Im convinced no one reads these anyway but here goes...
1) I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 6.5 years now
2) We have 3 beautiful boys (4,2, and 4 months) and 3 angle babies
3) I love to run (although clearly I’m not doing much of that lately) so many babies/pregnancies in 5 years has taken a toll on my body so I’m taking some time to heal
4) I LOVE to read, all the time, almost any kind of book and I’m always looking for good suggestions
5) We live in the house my father in law grew up in, built by my husbands grandpa, and we are slowly but surely updating it
6) We have 4 chickens (we love our fresh eggs) and we are excited to get a few pigs this spring 🙈
7) I’m a preschool teacher turned stay at home mom for the moment!
8) I’m working really hard to rid our lives of clutter, and be much less materialistic
9) All I want for Christmas is books, wine, coffee, and maybe some running gear #motherrunner#runnernotrunning
I had 30 minutes of running scheduled and during my commute home I was torn between running on the mill (Bc it’s raining) or running at the track...after a long back and forth in my head, I told myself that when I get to the traffic light by the high school, if I see one, just one person on the track running in the rain, 🌧 then I will run the track too! Well, whatdayaknow??? There was a kid out there training hard af.on a Friday.in the rain.with a parachute. How could I not be motivated!?!
3 miles for me in the rain! I know it doesn’t look like it’s raining, but I promise it was! 😉 and while I wasn’t exactly fast on the track, I’m definitely fast tracking my ass into the weekend! Cheers! 😃
Oh and quads, glutes and abs earlier today at the work gym!
My little elf and I finally got our Christmas cards mailed 🎄🎅🏻 And the amazing people at the Post Office let us talk to the elves in the North Pole on their walky talkies 🎉 Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎅🏻
After being chased by a dog & almost hit by a car, T2 was a welcomed sight. The energy was electric on the run. So many people cheering. So many cowbells and some dancing sharks kept the energy high. Due to all the switchbacks I was finally able to see all the members of my team and yell at each other along the way. You have a lot to think about when you’re out there alone with your thoughts. The one that kept coming to mind was running down the finisher chute and into the arms of my boys, which did happen, only after all three ran my last mile with me & trust me by that time, I needed the extra boost.
Coming into the home stretch with so many people cheering & a line of strangers giving you high fives was just awesome! The energy carries you. Your 1st step on the red carpet...bliss! It’s over! You did it! Then you hear them call your name & run through the finish line...boom, you’re done. Then you instantly break into an ugly cry (see last photo 😆)
I’m officially a 70.3 finisher!

Pretty sure 90% of the population are on their Xmas dos tonight 😅 mine is next fri 😁 was so busy this week I couldn’t pull any runs in so I did a longer one this eve instead! Enjoyed seeing the lights, added a couple of blurry photos you can attempt to appreciate 😁🎄✨
