Orion the adventurer had quite the past few days being dragged along on our October car camping adventure. He's not the biggest fan of the cold nights, but with a pile of blankets he accepts that the bed of the night is a blanket on the ground and not his cloud-like throne back home. He loves the days though. Packed full of hiking and exploring. Telluride has a free gondola service that is pet friendly. So here he is exploring the mountaintops above Telluride.
Many of you wonder how we get the doggies in the rooftop cap..... well we carry them 😂 we know that some doggies are too heavy to carry, but luckily we have a 50 pound dog and a 20-30 pound doggy. Sometimes they’re a bit heavy at times but for the most time we are able to lug there butts up the ladder and into the canopy. And then we trained them to put there two front paws on our shoulder and that’s how we carry them down 💪💪
When we go for a run LuLu is all business. With the exception of the peeps or dogs she's running with, LuLu doesn't pay heed to anyone, any dog or much of anything else on the trail. Hazel on the other hand... well let's just say she's easily distracted at times. We've run by this log dozens of times and she's never shown any interest. Today was another story. 🤷🏻♂️
