🙌🏼 I’M BAAAACK. I feel I can officially saying this after managing a very slow 30 minutes on the bike in the gym today....woo 🤔
I had an operation 2 weeks ago which confirmed and removed endometriosis - lucky me. It’s meant 2 weeks of not moving much, resting up, and me missing running - a lot! Can’t wait to get back to normality, still not 100% there, but I will be soon, and then the road to @royalparkshalf can really start! 🙌🏼

Please help me raise money for this great cause.
In October I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon (again) for Cancer Research.
The reason I have chosen this charity is because it’s one close to my heart and my family’s. We all know someone effected indirectly and directly by cancer and we need to continue support research to enable more people to survive this horrible disease.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could support me on this and click the link in my bio or copy the one below:
So I have done a crazy thing and signed up for a half marathon. My first week of "official" training is complete. 11 to go! I have chosen to fundraise for the Children's Cardiac fund at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. They are currently building a new cardiac ward. Check out the link in my bio #royalparkshalfmarathon#training#supportevelina
Royal Parks Half Marathon October 2016 🏅 One of my favourite runs the most amazing atmosphere. This was the 2nd of 3 1/2 Marathons in 4 weeks for Parkinson’s. Loved every minute of it, hope to run again next year in the ballot 🏃🏽♀️💥
If you watched my Stories yesterday, the pennies have now all been totted up (I got my abacus out) and the beauty, book and bake sale for @tommys_thebabycharity raised.... £904.57. Not bad for a day’s work!
This puts our fundraising total so far at £5,232.04. Which is good, but I reckon we can do a little better... so in that spirit I might as well tell you that Dan and I are both running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October.
If you’d like to sponsor me there is a new link in my bio - I know lots of you were kind enough to sponsor my last race, and I don’t expect you to again. BUT if you didn’t -and wanted to - now’s your chance!
P.S. So sorry to be an insta-chugger, but the work and research Tommy’s does is really important. And it’s also really important that I raise more money than Dan 😉💪🏻

Myself and @priyaplayspiano are doing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October for both of our beautiful mums.
Please take a minute to read our stories, and donate if you can. The smallest number doesn't matter to us, because we are going to fuck cancer together and every penny is worth it.
Thank you so much to anyone who has donated and/or sent any well wishes our way already, we are so grateful.
Never did I expect to raise £200 within 24 hours! ❤
On October 14th I will be running in the London Royal Parks Half Marathon to help raise money for @cr_uk ! 🏃🏻♀️ Having lost two Grandparents to cancer, this is a cause that means a great deal to me. In September, it will be 9 years since the loss of my grandfather (my Papa). Papa who was a fighter till the end, and his strength, amongst his many other amazing qualities, continues to inspire me on a daily basis. There are no words to describe what he means to me and all that he's done for me. His passion, drive and determination will live on through his family in the years to come. The loss of a loved one is always painful and I hope that one day we will find a cure for one of life’s cruelest illnesses.
A fundraising goal of £500 has been set, and I’d appreciate any donation (big or small). Link in bio 🔗

Thank you to all the generous people who have sponsored me so far to run the royal parks half marathon and helped me reach my target! If you have a few spare pounds and would still like to sponsor me, and support this amazing cause, the link is on my bio! 😊 The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation provide children with liver disease and their families with a tailored support service as well as being a hub for comprehensive information. They also carry out research into all aspects of children’s liver disease, which affects 20 kids in the uk each week. #cldf#liverdisease#childrenliverdiseasefoundation#royalparkshalfmarathon#charity#zakat#ramadan

W7D2 of #C25K and I have officially switched to miles - on Runkeeper at least. Tonight's run was 25 mins without stopping, which I did (apart from 30-60 seconds where I was sorted out a twisted trainer), and I managed it FAIRLY comfortably. I have 18 weeks to go until #royalparkshalfmarathon and I can do about a sixth of the distance fairly comfortably. I am pleased with this.
Random things about running also in my brain: * So, now I'm able to do 25 mins and 3.5km fairly comfortably, I think I'm going to try Parkrun on Saturday. I can't decide between doing the one literally on my doorstep or finding a flatter one. I just I hate hills so much... * My foot went numb at about 20 mins in. I think my trainers are possibly not the best trainers for me, or I need to do something different with the laces, or... something. I don't even know. * I tried out my new #Fitbit#versa today and couldn't figure out how to END the workout. I accidentally lost it 😭 Anyone know?
16,000 people ran last year's Royal Parks Half Marathon and celebrated the 10th Birthday of the event in style. If you missed out running through the autumnal scenes of four of London's most beautiful Royal Parks, you can sign up for this years race, today! Link in our bio 🍁🍂🏃♀️🏃♂️
