This is my current nighttime skin routine and my favourite products in rotation at the moment. As with the daytime products, these are products I've been using for a very long time and therefore can attest to their effectiveness 👍 .
1. Oil Cleanse : @esteelauder advanced night micro cleansing balm
2. Face wash : @esteelauder microcleansing foam wash OR @sum37_official miracle rose cleansing stick. I always use my @foreo Luna with them
Other great alternatives include( not pictured because it's in use): @drunkelephant pekee bar
3. @rodialbeauty dragon's blood cleansing water to take off any residue or @biodermaFrance micellar water
4. Exfoliation: @drunkelephant glycolic night serum - I credit this, combined with a overnight sleeping mask and a spot treatment if needed, for saving my skin on long trips or if my skin is breaking out. My other alternative is @sundayriley good genes
5. Essence: @skii facial treatment essence
6. Facial oils: If my skin needs some extra TLC because it's been breaking out, I use @sundayriley UFO, which contains the likes of salicylic acid and tea tree oil, @sundayriley Luna oil
7. Moisturizer: @sisleyparisofficial ecological compound or @drunkelephant b-hydra intensive hydration serum if I need hydration but something a tad lighter
8. Overnight Sleeping Masks: @glowrecipe watermelon glow sleeping mask or @sulwhasoo.official overnight vitalizing mask

My evening routine is actually way easier than my morning routine, even though I'm a morning person. I think it the momentum from the exercise. I do still struggle to not get distracted though.
Whenever I do a consultation with a family, no matter the age of the baby or child, there are 5 common issues I almost always come across.
Common Issue 3 - Sleep aids aid sleep. A sleep aid is any process or item you incorporated into the “going to sleep” process for your baby or child. Sleep aids include the dummy, rocking, feeding, patting your baby off to sleep, which noise, using the pram or driving your baby in the car to get them to sleep and so on. Almost all the babies and children I work with are dependent on one, if not a number of sleep aids to fall off to sleep, and then fall back to sleep when they rouse / wake. Sleep aid dependency is a big issue. When your baby or child falls to sleep using a sleep aid, let’s say the dummy, they are falling to sleep under a certain set of conditions, sucking on the dummy. We all rouse / wake many times during sleep so if the dummy has fallen out, your baby or child’s “falling to sleep” conditions will have changed. So chances are they will cry out for you, so you can go in and put the dummy back in. This equals constant interruption to their sleep, and your too. You want your baby or child falling to sleep using nothing or no one. You want them to draw on their own natural self settling abilities to fall off to sleep. Then when they rouse or wake fully during sleep, they realise the conditions are exactly the same and again, they use their own self- settling abilities to fall back to sleep. Healthy babies of all ages can self-settle. Provided you set them up in the ideal conditions and you give them time and space on their own to do their thing. So, how do you stop using sleep aids?
