Successful leaders are driven by a desire to be of service to others and to nurture, guide, develop and help them to improve and succeed... Leadership Day tomorrow, last day of #RoundSquare Week! #LCCMTL#LCCLeadership
If you are new to Round Square or a recent follower, it’s great to be connected. Let’s get to know each other a little better. Meet our founder and chief strategy officer Jesica D’Avanza. ▫️▫️▫️
“Hi everyone! I’m Jesica. After 15 years consulting for and working inside a variety of large national nonprofit organizations, there was a common challenge I saw time and time again: a disconnect between words and actions. Too many companies and causes were talking about their brand promise but not actually living their values when it came to business planning and programming. That’s why I started Round Square ➡️ to help nonprofits, purpose-driven organizations and companies that are committed to making our world a better place harness the intersection between brand and business strategy to drive greater relevance, resonance and results. But we’re about more than just helping our clients generate awareness and dollars. Together with our partners, we are working to leverage brand and communications to improve lives and communities. Thank you for connecting with us. Tell us a little bit about you and what you’re passionate about.”
RSC, The Doon School

With the motto in mind 'Inspire to serve, Empower to lead', six boys from Jr. School with Mr. Kamlesh Kumar reached The Doon School, Dehradun on 4th Dec. 2018 for the Doon School Regional Round Square Conference 2018. After completing registration the group went for a campus round with the student guide Nabhit Singhal and Vishwavijay Singh Rathore. Well done to a combined group of 13 students from year 9 & 10 for participating and completing their bronze expedition in Kaseve Machakos!
They are actually a step closer to completing their award. Our students demonstrated teamwork and outstanding tenacity as they epitomized #Roundsquare values of resilience and determination. The students were constantly helping and motivating each other to complete both walks, especially when members of their respective groups were finding it difficult.

Up to the bright lights of London last night to meet up with this lovely lot 👉 ... we first met 39 years ago when we were aged 10/11 and we had to share a bedroom, and a life together, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We grew up together, learnt from each other, supported, tormented and got drunk together. And I am so very proud of the women we have become. It's wonderful to see who we are today, but also to remember who we were - the director, the clever one, the actor, the cool one, the writer and the naughty one. Some of us have used our natural talents more than others, but we are all achievers (little dig there as our school is holding an Achiever's Dinner and not all of us are invited) ... So from big city lights to Tuesday morning mist ... 👉 points if you can spot the bird of prey on the post ... and do take a minute's walk with me at the end - blink and you'll miss the little birds flying out in front of me, and we finish with the large lump of earth that is a Bronze Age barrow. Subsequently it was used in Tudor times as a boundary marker for the City of Rochester, and as a Manorial meeting place in the Middle Ages for the neighbourhood districts of Wouldham, Burham, Borstal, Little Delce and Great Delce. Nashenden, where the mound is found, is recorded in the 1086 Doomsday survey as having a population of 25 households, although despite the size of the population there was land for only four plough teams and eight acres of meadow . The taxable value was also only £4, though this may be partly due to the tenant in chief being Bishop Odo of Bayeux, half-brother to King William. #alwayscurious#roundsquare#kurthahn#moreinyou#smoothpebbles

Wednesday afternoons are 'Round Square @ Milton Abbey'. Half a day each week dedicated to voluntary, service and community projects.
Today our Combined Cadet Force Contingent Commander - Mr Williams - has promoted Miss Burg to the rank of Under Officer in the CCF. Well done and thank you for taking up the post!
Despite our CCF being a voluntary option for students since the start of this year - they can choose to participate in other community or service activities instead - it continues to go from strength to strength.
In fact, with students now opting in to the CCF, they are more dedicated and interested than ever. Thank you all for your hard work!
