Amazing client results in a short time!! *Top is new - bottom is old*
First Pic: 38 year old male who has completely adopted the lifestyle of taking care of yourself.
Second Pic: 71 year old who has done the same thing. Both had massive back pain, shoulder pain, and knee pain which have ALL been resolved!
Love my job when times like these come along. It's a good reminder that every small consistent action plays a big part of the larger picture!
Yesterday reality hit me. I did a “homie” resume that I grew up with for free because he wasn’t financially stable and he didn’t even have the audacity to thank me once he received his documents. Nothing is free in this world! No more handouts, no more reducing my price FOR ANYONE. I dedicate to much time and effort into resumes. #BeBlessed#Priorities#ResumeServices#Rotation#BusinessIsBusiness

Here I am mimicking an uppercut motion (sorta) to build total body strength and to improve my ability to transfer force from the ground up to my arm. Every muscle in our body is connected to each other (Bioflow), and therefore it is important for us to train this continuity and not just rely on isolation exercises (which are fine too). Our core muscles act as a highway to connect our lower and upper bodies so this is a great way to train that function. ⚪
Just like the side kick-throughs, it is important to move the shoulders and hips together for stability and efficient force transfer. If you can see the black tag on the bottom of my shirt where my hip is, you will notice that it moves in sync with my shoulder for each rep. Losing this connection would result in striking with just your arm instead of generating the power from your entire body, and we don't want that!

Thoracic rotation📕📕📕 •The thoracic spine is built for rotation, flexion, and extension. It is highly mobile – or, rather, it has the potential for lots of mobility. However if it isn't used correctly we find these movements with other parts of our spine...e.g lumbar spine. And our lumbar spine is built for stability not mobility. Therefore a lot of lower back issues and even neck issues are secondary effects due to poor movements in the thoracic spine!❌❌❌•poor rotation
•more susceptible to injury •reduced performance ✅✅✅•good rotation
•reduced risk of injury
How do I increase my thoracic rotation?
Pattern assistance is a great tool to tap into your last bit of motion. Using a resistance that assists the movement is great to allow the body to recognise it has more motion to go through. This followed by progressive loading of these new patterns will help reinforce the movement pattern!
1. get on hands and knees
2. Tuck arm with the palm facing up on your mid-lower back
3. On the downward stage of the movement, breathe in
4. On the upward stage of the movement breathe out
5. Remember to try and keep lower back as fixed as possible during the movement, to promote thoracic rotation
6. Repeat both sides for about 8-10 reps
I try and do most of my videos at home to prove that you don't need to be a member of a gym to improve and look after your body 😊! Hope this helps :) www.kingchirocardiff.co.uk
