Still carrying the vibes of this past week: connection with these beautiful spirits, with myself, and with those things called laughter, play, conquering fears, and unwavering belief in Self that so easily seem to slip below the radar in this place we call the "real world". 🌍🌎🌏
The beauty of a consistent yoga practice is building the awareness to notice when these slip away, slide below the radar of where you can feel them, and knowing they don't have to. You create your world and your view of it, so keep recharging those built-in rose colored glasses that allow you to see reality as it truly is.
I'm back in San Jose, but mainly focusing on private yoga sessions for the rest of this month. I have a few openings left, so if you're wanting to dive into a hot stone restorative session, break your heart wide open with a flowing backbending practice, or fly in the aerial hammocks, dm me.
Thanks for the snap 📸 @julzdiva!

We see the world through our view of the world–our ‘perception’ of the world. Our opinions, beliefs, experiences and even our mood at that moment will shape how we interpret what we see, hear and feel.
We know this is true, and sometimes we choose to ignore it because it doesn’t support our case. The trick is to be present and aware, to observe and then not attach anything to the event. “It is what it is”, just an event.
The problem is that we then go crazy in our own minds trying to fit an explanation to the event, and our perception of that event will be influenced by all those things I mentioned above–beliefs, experiences (both conscious and subconscious) and like I said, our mood.
.. “Reality doesn’t bite, rather our perception of reality bites” –Anthony J D’Angelo.
So, what can we do about it?

I will not apologize for wanting to thrive, not merely survive. The world is not going to get better that way. The things we put on our 5-year plan are about thriving and helping others do the same. Some of our 1-5 year goals make me go 🤭😳 because they include things that a mere 5 years ago I didn’t think were in the cards for me. Or they are things that still feel outside of my comfort zone.⠀
💭With 100% grateful heart, honor almost a decade of growing and nourishing my babies and go after my own body transformation.⠀
💭People on our team earning six figures residual. 💭Write a book. ⠀
💭Speak on bigger stages.⠀
💭More rental properties. ⠀
💭More automation. ⠀
💭More travel. ⠀
💭More adventure. ⠀
💭Greater contribution. ⠀
I have a Pinterest board with my 2019 vision board- feel free to check it out and also create your own! If you do, I’d love to see it. Next step is to make a printed version to have both a hard and soft copy reminder of our 2019 vision. ⠀
Ps If you are in a state of mere survival, I see you. I have been you. Some days I still feel that way. But with more and more clarity they become less and less frequent. I believe it’s never black and white... I think the point is progress. For you, I send a hug and a prayer. For clarity, for strength, for growth mindset that reminds you that nothing has to be a certain way forever.
2019, I’ll see you in a few weeks. Let’s do this thing. 🎈🍾
This little 70's cookbook makes me so happy inside, not to mention I found it right beside this 90's Beatles book at the cutest little shop in East Texas. .
Just a few days away from @oldschoolcoolmarket on Friday! I've been loving seeing all the post from fellow vendors

Don’t let yourself be defined by a “label” 😎
Whether it is a label from Mental Health of Bipolar, PTSD, CPTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Past Addiction, Escape from Abuse - whatever you have come through, you are MORE than what a diagnosis says you are!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I struggled for a long time to overcome my “label.” Thankfully, I had some very wonderful people in my LiFe who opened my eyes to the fact that I am not my diagnosis....I simply HAVE that diagnosis. What I AM, is a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend. I am loyal, caring generous, loving, artistic, a hard-worker with awesome ethics!! I began to build a List of all the things I Am.
Sure - some days I am a hot mess; and some days, I feel like I am on top of the world and I have it all together. And that’s okay. There are LOTS of things that make up WHO YOU ARE.
I am more than what you see....what do YOU see when YOU look in the mirror?? Do you see the badass that you are? Do you see the Courageous person that you have become? Do you see your talents and skills that you have developed from your past experiences? I hope you do!!! YOU are more than what OTHERS see 😊❤️👍😎☺️🥰😎
What has YOUR Journey of self-discovery been like for you??
