Ujjy's first hair cut. “I think at the core of my existentialism is the conflict of free will vs determinism. Did the neurons in my brain fire before my conscious mind could think the thought? Or am I in control deciding what I think?” -@ujjygang

"Seeking symbolic meaning of the rose from an esoteric perspective, we can look at the Tarot, in which the rose is considered a symbol of balance. Here the beauty of therose expresses promise, new beginnings, hope. This beauty is contrasted with its thorns which represents defense, physicality, loss, thoughtlessness." #loveit#rosecoloredglasses#balance#yellowrose#symbolsofhappinessandgoodenergy
You don’t fall out of love if love was there... “If you fall in, love it will be forever. Or you’ll never fall in love”. Pretty dangerous idea. Like this post if you aren’t seeing the world through the rose colored glasses and know that love takes work! 😉
Quite often both men and women are susceptible to Disney way of thinking believing that if they fell in love and experienced mutual feelings, it means that they will stay in love forever, AND without much effort. Then why so many people are going through hard times in their relationships? “They are not doing it right, and I’ll just get lucky!” Sweet and all, but people who hold these views and only expect an amazing ride, pure joy, magic and lack of problems from a relationship won’t be ready for normal down times that aren’t Disney specialty 😉 Happily ever after exists, I’m 100% confident, but it takes work, efforts, and reasonable expectations. We all go through episodes of feeling tired, conflict of interests, money or health issues, just getting used to co-existing with another person who is always different, simply because they are a different human being, and just as no two snowflakes ❄️ have the same pattern, no two humans are exactly the same in their values, needs and wants. .
When idealistic people who hope for “happily ever after” with no road curves face those issues, often during the baby’s first year of life, they break up and run elsewhere to look for their peace, quiet, blissful happiness, and perfect Disney ending.
Love, passion, care, and tenderness are indeed very important, but sometimes we all need patience, loyalty, and perseverance. Arguments, misunderstandings and search for the middle ground are a normal part of life, and if we don’t collide at all, there is a possibility we aren’t close/deep/honest/ourselves enough with our partner. What do you think? Do you have Disney world of your relationship? ❤️ Would a series of posts about times in a relationship that are likely to be challenging be helpful?
What kind of lens do you see your life through? Emotional? Logical? Intellectual? Artistic? Religious? Whatever lens you choose... I challenge you to give fleeting, superficial elements their proper place in your life.
We need to see them for what they really are. They are 🔥fleeting 💨
Social media isn’t real life 😑
There are billions of dollars being spent every year to keep you glued to your phone.
I encourage you to leave your phone on the kitchen counter tonight, hug some warm bodies and don’t forget to eat your greens because it’s all connected! 🌱🙏🏼💕 Pc: me 💃🏽

Today I chose to see the world with #rosecoloredglasses . How could you shift your energy so that you overflowed with hope and possibility?! Remember who you were as a child... embrace that energy today. #shineon
The Sun 🌞 is still in Libra the sign looking for homeostasis and balance. Venus is still retrograde in emotionally intense Scorpio. But in a few hours the Moon starts to linger in Pisces. My head is already in the clouds imagining, my favorite tunes are already playing and the amazing clouds remind me of the beauty of existence and that we have the power of dreams to discover any role in life we want to play. It’s all about perspective and rose colored glasses. #scorpiomoonastrology#okanaganclouds#rosecoloredglasses#mooninpisces
It’s our job as parents to create a safe place for our children when their emotions are too big for them. Sometimes that means we hold them and keep them close and sometimes it means laying down in a pile of leaves staring up at the tree above you and breathing deeply while encouraging your child to do the same. People on the street will stare strangely and give you the side-eye. But in that moment you can take a moment to admire the beauty around you, hear a songbird sing above the noise of traffic and your child, and feel a sense of calm that gives you the strength to love on your child even though you would rather just walk away. Just a reminder, there is beauty everywhere.
