“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”
Hebrews 4:12 NLT
Autumn is here & this weekends Fall Equinox indicated a beautiful shift ~ a gateway from the old into the new, from one season to the next.
Like a cosmic clock attuning us to the larger rhythms of the natural world, it asks that we take a moment and ground ourselves into the present, into our heart space.
Whether we are in the Northern Hemisphere transitioning into Autumn, or in the Southern Hemisphere welcoming Spring, this is a sacred time to check in and ask ourselves, what matters most to us?
Who are we at our core level? And are we living our life in accordance to what we hold most true?
What resonates so strongly in our hearts that it brings tears to our eyes? What is worth living for? What do we want to work toward?
In every moment we have the opportunity to awaken to our life. Our soul is rooting for us to have the courage to become exactly who we are.
We have been in the belly of collective transformation and it’s been quite a ride. As we drift in and out of the fog, the great Eagle reminds us that that the sun is simultaneously setting and rising on our horizons.
May we deepen our connection to our truth, our hearts, our power, our great Mother Earth who holds us, and the invisible vibration of Creation that pulses and breathes with all of Life. #auroraspirits#fall#equinox#motherearth#mysticmamma#wisdom#insight by the wonderful www.mysticmamma.com
🍁Autumn is here🍁
I celebrated the autumnal equinox this weekend, also known as Mabon if you honor the sabbats. This was my first time celebrating and I truly felt connected to the divine last night as I called upon my goddesses and honored the dark mother. The northern hemisphere is going through death and rebirth as the leaves begin to fall & the soil grows cold. The divine is making its exit from summer and heading towards symbolic death into Samhain later in October. This is a reminder that everything is temporary, darkness doesn’t last forever. Neither dark nor light overpowers the other for long. Use this time to slow down and turn inwards. What needs to die and be released within? How can we find harmony, peace and prosperity to get though these cold months?
The goddess I chose to honor was Persephone. Demeter(her mother) and Persephone are strongly connected to Autumn. When Hades abducted Persephone, it set in motion a chain of events that eventually led the earth into darkness each winter when Demeter mourned the loss of her child.
This is the time of the Dark Mother, the Crone aspect of the triple goddess. The goddess is not bearing a basket of flowers this time, but instead as a sickle and scythe. It is time that we prepare ourselves to reap what has been sown up until this point.
Honor the darkness within, we must embrace this slow decent into dark before we can truly appreciate the light that will return in a few months.
Happy fall & harvest season to you all. Focus on healing from trauma or fear. Soak in all of the hard work towards abundance you have made so far this year. Slow it down, turn inward and give thanks and gratitude to the darkness within us all & honor the human experience. It is after the darkness, we can return to the light. 🍁🍁🍁🌚🌚🌚✨✨✨
Youth, it's time to get Rooted! October 5th-7th is going to be an incredible weekend of inspiring worship and team building, with the hope that our group will get ROOTED in our faith at a deeper level.
We will be joining with 400 other students and leaders from across North Georgia at Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, GA. The cost is $140 per student, which includes event admission, lodging and food. 📲Follow the link in our bio to get registered.
We hope to see you there!
Last night we had an awesome time at Rooted! It was a fun night full of some tears of thankfulness as we spoke of our elders and heard them speak, a LOT of laughter and great fellowship! There are no words to accurately describe how thankful we are that our elders took the time to spend an evening with us.
Thank you to all the elders who hugged our young people after the event and told them what a great time you had!
Enjoy these pictures: a small look into our evening. We tried to snap pictures of everyone, but missed a few.
We are blessed at PNWA!
The beauty of starting my week with mass. The beauty of being able to prioritize my thoughts and listen to His voice in the stillness. The beauty of praying for so many, especially for my challengers who start my Faith and Fitness group today. The beauty. Find the beauty in all things. ✝️ #godfirst
Last week I heard “A empty mind is the devils playground” it was in reference to meditating on and knowing scripture. Last week for our homegroup study we were asked to memorize Romans 8:1-2 “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” .
I have been amazed at how what felt like a task in the time has truly become more of a weapon this past week. Which has lead me to really realize how real and true the enemy playing around in my head is. Without truth in our minds and in our heart the enemy is free to run rapid. It’s God’s word, His truths, that shut down the words, thoughts, and lies from the enemy. When I’ve felt discouraged or less than this week it’s amazing how Romans 8:1-2 has been the first thing I start reciting in my head. Which has now made me hungry to memorize more of God’s word. So, if you’re like me... and struggle with believing lies over truth somedays put a focus on memorizing Romans 8:1-2 this week and when the enemy begins to creep in, start reciting it in your head and out loud. It’s our full armor that the Lord has given us that HAS to quiet the enemy, in the name of Jesus ❤️ Have a amazing week!

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray and so he shared this with them...He started by telling them to exalt God and recognize His holiness. If you don’t know God’s holiness then ask Him to show it to you. If you do know God’s holiness then I ask you, are you pursuing it? Are you living for God today? Pursue the Lord with all your heart and start your day by lifting Him up and making Him the central focus of your heart!
Though we can never fully comprehend the greatness, holiness, and His thoughts. We can always be growing in our knowledge and relationship with Him as We seek Him and He reveals Himself to us. #rooted#knowgod#discipleship#hisways#histhoughts

For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
