Meet Jason Deramo a religion teacher at Cardinal Spellman High school and a committed Iron Way member. Jason better known as Deramo says “I’ve been going to the Iron Way for over a year and it was my students are the ones who brought me to the Iron Way. I stayed because I am someone who needs the accountability and the schedule to keep myself on track in my workouts. It’s a great, supportive, and fun environment and there’s always something different going on. I love the trainers who are there to challenge and welcome you, and I love the people that go there who have formed a real community that goes beyond just the workout.” #member#fitnessmotivation#gym#rockland#southshorema#weightlifting#cardinalspellmanhighschool

Your wedding is too important to leave the planning to chance. With over 80 events handled each year, we have the tools, knowledge, and experience to design your awe-inspiring luxury event, created in your vision.
Following a cancellation a couple weeks back I’m playing at Troost on August 26th! Playing jazz! With the greatest bassist from Rockland county, Jon Toscano, and the greatest drummer from Rockland county, Bryan Framhein. Everyone there gets to hear a ton of Dylan songs and classics by peeps like Herb Hancock and Thelonious.
While you’re at it check out the songs “Dreams” and “Rooms” that I produced for @downtownbryantk coming out on @stonesthrow records plus my project CINCO on Spotify, youtube, soundcloud and bandcamp. And if you like it 1) come to my show, 2) tell a friend, 3) venmo me or do all of the above! Thanks cuties
Shiitake spawn running to the ends of these logs. They were inoculated in the spring and it looks like the first flush of mushrooms will be coming this fall. It’s amazing that they can turn wood into food and medicine. #shiitake
#tbt to my outfit for the wedding last Saturday! 💃🏻 (pls ignore messy hotel room 😂) I seriously ❤️love❤️ how this @loft petites dress fits, and will probably be my go to place for dress shopping in the future. Last month, when I was shopping at other stores for an outfit to wear to a dinner, I felt icky about myself. 😞 Now, I realize I was just shopping at the wrong store! There is NOTHING wrong with my body, the clothes just didn’t fit properly because it wasn’t petite sizing! Duh! 🤦🏻♀️ I may not have lost much weight, inches, a size, whatever. But! I’m learning to love my body and treat it with respect. 🙌🏼 Also, I’m learning that I really need to shop petites so that I can properly accentuate my body 💁🏻♀️ Yes, I want to lose inches so my pants fit, yes I want to be more toned. However, more than anything, I want to feel confident. That’s an INSIDE job, y’all! 🧠🙆🏻♀️ By practicing self care in the form of mindful eating, exercising, and positive affirmations, that self love and confidence naturally follows! If this is something that resonates with you, yet you feel like you need a little help feeling like your best self, drop me your fave emoji, and I’ll DM you so we can figure out how to get you there 😘💕 .
Our very own jet setting Ladies Footballer @ka_henry has been making waves across the water in Ireland. This is no surprise to everyone who knows Kelly Ann. She is currently getting ready for an All Ireland Intermediate Semi Final against Tyrone. Our loss has been Curry GAA Sligo's gain. Kelly, who studies Physio Therapy at UCD, was due to be back in New York this summer. However an invitation from Sligo Ladies Football manager Paddy Henry to join the panel was too good an opportunity to turn down. After speaking with her family she decided to stay in Ireland. Her debut was against Roscommon in the Connacht Final and she has since played against Longford and Wicklow respectively.
Kelly Ann is a great role model. She was one of our lead coaches in our RGAA Summer Camp in 2017 and it's great to see her younger sisters, Mary Kate and Sinead, following on her footsteps at this years Camp and it was great to see her when she visited Camp this year during a short break home. Kelly Ann was an integral member of our Junior Ladies Team when they clinched the Junior Title in 2017. Although we'd love to have her back we're extremely proud of her representing Sligo LGFA. Everyone in Rockland GAA, New York and beyond would like to wish Kelly Ann and the entire Sligo LGFA panel all the best this Saturday in their All Ireland Intermediate Semi Final against Tyrone. The game throws in at 4pm in Ballyshannon. Thank you to the Sligo Weekender Newspaper for the piece in the picture and massive thanks to Kelly Ann's extended family, friends, Curry GFC, Sligo LGFA and UCD for looking after our girl
