FOR SALE! sweet ass 1983 dodge roadtrek 2. You can pretty much live in luxury in this shaggin wagon. Sky lights, bed, valure interior, sink, oven, bed, steering wheel, did I say bed twice?! In an age where housing, cars and travel are unaffordable, how about combining the three?? No rent! No mortgage! Stick it to the man! Needs some TLC. Roof is kinda leaky but runs fine lol. Selling because we've transformed into lame old farts who get excited about things like clean dish rags. Sold as is $2500 obo. Willing to negotiate. #campervan#forsale#vanlife#vanforsale#hippies#1983dodgeroadtrek#roadtrek
I was gearing up for a music festival in Moab early November. It wasn't a dog friendly event, so I was going to have to leave the pooches with family. Then I was going to come back, grab the dogs, and then head out in the van full time. BUT I just got word that the festival was cancelled due to severe flooding. So it looks like I'm just heading out full time instead! Still dealing with a turtle re-homing situation and a couple tiny details on the van, but otherwise, I'm ready to hit the road! Heading south to warm weather!
So we started with the first trip to Orlando. Which was a one night stay in Norma.
Fast forward to this month, where we hit up Tampa so I could take a seminar, and we got to soak Norma up for two nights.
Sloane was a wild child the first night and was bright eyed and bushy tailed from 1130pm-2am. Somehow, she had no concept of the fact that the sun was down, and that meant she needed to close her eyes too. But that’s mamalife. Nova sleeps in her own single bed behind the drivers seat, and Mac and Sloane and I sleep on the queen size bed in the back, that by day, also coverts to a kitchen table for for four people. Nova actually has done surprisingly well, has no hang ups about the fact that Sloane is back with us and she’s up front, and I actually thinks she enjoys her own space to some degree (and finds it super cool that where she sits when we’re traveling, converts to where she sleeps at night) ✨✨✨✨ Showering at the RV stops have been great so far. They’ve been clean and easy to access. So we will take that!
This trip I added a canvas bag to the closet for our dirty clothes, as well as a Himalayan salt night light for nursing Sloane at night without the van lights being to stimulating to her and I to get back to sleep.
All in all, Norma, you’re growing on me! ❤️🤷🏼♀️😬✨

Melissa was pretty keen to hit the surf. I was a bit apprehensive, as I am not the most confident swimmer. After several gallons of seawater were consumed I can say that I fully endorse this fun sport. The beautiful location helps make it a winner
