From the weeds to the drawing board, to the road! Let’s welcome @simplerodz_ted and his 1973 international Loadstar to the team! Just like this big rig @simplerodz_ted couldn’t be stopped when his mind got set to bring this road king back to life ! One of the more interesting things that I know about this truck is how the front wheels needed spacing out. Well, being it that you can’t get any wheel spacers from the local parts stores @simplerodz_ted took two old front rims , then had to drill the centers out first before he could get them turned on his lathe. When finished the homemade spacers looked like they were shipped to him from international them self ! The best part is that you can’t even tell , the truck looks amazing. @simplerodz_ted has a few other projects that you be seeing here in the future. @simplerodz_ted also belongs to a club named metal flake and they put on one of the best shows here in Missouri every October called rustoberfest . It’s an awesome scene where all the rats and patina rods gather ! It’s growing every year and the environment is awesome , just an all around good time . So if you’re ever in Missouri in October you don’t want to miss it !
