Before leaving for Morocco, I became obsessed with scouring travel sites, blogs, instagram, and old lists I scrupulously kept in my phone to try to find THE riad.// .
A big part of what first intrigued me about visiting Morocco was the unique experience of staying in a riad vs. a big or more commercial hotel. An endless supply of options, each one leaving me with more #decorgoals than the last, it made choosing one that much harder. While some follow traditional Moroccan decor to a T, others take a more modern approach or mix in European design flare. @riad.anata ‘s stunning inner courtyard, uniquely decorated rooms, and the most luxurious local bath products certainly did not disappoint. .
Riad Alya – If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The only place to stay in Fes. The riad was exquisite – the interior was gorgeous. Our room was huge with both a large soaking tub and shower. But aside from the place being a quiet oasis when you are in need of a break from the busy souks, the service was impeccable. From the front desk staff always willing to answer our questions, to the waiters in the restaurant, we felt genuinely welcomed"
