Today is a travel day for me and your girl gets hungry. So, I always carry snacks. In an effort to live more sustainably, I recently got my hands on some @stasherbag reusable food bags. ⠀
I've been using the smaller one to carry nuts in my purse, so I always have a snack on hand. The larger one is perfect for freezing overripe bananas for smoothies. I wasn't able to finish up my bananas before I left for my trip and didn't want to waste them so I just sliced them and put them in my stasherbag in the freezer. ⠀
When I'm done using the bags I can just throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. I had to share because these bags are environmentally friendly, versatile and perfect for busy (and/or lazy- like me) boss babes. These are now going to be a permanent travel and kitchen staple. ⠀
158 green bottles (per chandelier!) hanging on the wall....and if one green bottle ....
How cool is this upcycled lighting idea? I love that it looks like a vintage 70s piece - I think the way it’s recessed with the trim makes it look more luxurious. Details matter.
We were at Thyme and Lemon in Islington last night enjoying tapas for dinner under these beauties and I had to snap it...
I love using my glass, eco-friendly ♻️water bottle💧. The top is bamboo🎋, and i love the blue design on it. Perfect for yoga 🧘🏾♀️ & meditation.
This is my small but effective way of participating in an eco friendly lifestyle. Next up is investing in metal straws, buying more fabric bags and a eco friendly toothbrush. What are other ways you to become more eco friendly? Help please?! Comment down below & thanks in return!❤️

No disposable plastics here! 💖
In my continuing effort to reduce the amount of single use plastic I consume, I have started carrying a reusable plastic dual ended spoon 🥄 with me that has a fork and knife 🍴 on the other end.
Perfect for burrito 🌯 bowls and any other kind of delicious Mexican food I choose to devour 😉 Get 2 in a handy carrying case so you can share with bae....
Or take your “single-use” spoon home, wash it 🚿 and reuse that sucker!! @chipotle

Topped off my leg day with some weighted belt squats with periodic isometric holds. My belt is an out of service firefighter tool belt, recycled into new gym equipment.
Big shoutout to my longtime friend @epdmc902 for the new single, “him or me” that has become a staple in my gym playlist.
I did this piece on an unwanted top to give it a new life. This method of working is actually how I started to do my art on clothes - I wanted new, funky shirts but couldn't fork out lots of money. I 'worked' on some shirts and was / am still very pleased with what I got in the end.

Did you know that the average woman absorbs roughly 5LBS of chemicals a year from beauty products alone? •Our skin absorbs 60% of any topical products we use •26 seconds is all it takes for the chemicals in your personal care products to enter your bloodstream. •over 1,300 toxic chemicals are banned for cosmetic use in Europe and only 11 in the USA. If you're lookin for an ethical brand, try @crunchicollection I love this organic lip gloss from them. It's cruelty-free, Non-GMO, organic and parabene-free. No weird after taste once applied. It's now my fave lippy to bring everyday. If you wanna know more about their other products check @kind_heart_adventures 💕
Thank you to everyone who commented/shared our Summer Reading Suggestions post! Your participation helped us raise $250 for @scarceecoed and the work they do in teaching about #recycling and #sustainability and distributing used books to curb environmental impact. "We are so thrilled with this donation. We are going to use it to help underprivileged kids have programs in their classrooms about sustainability; protecting the environment, reusing resources, saving money...when kids have this information, we can help build stronger communities around the world." -Kay McKeen, Founder of SCARCE #reusereducerecycle#savetheenvironment#retirementcommunity#lombard#elmhurst#scarce#community#education
Hello again Instagram
I seem to keep having these on and off spells with this platform, sometimes I just can’t bare to be on it, sometimes I just like to look at what everyone else is up to
We are making progress with our new home, I guess that is where most of my time and money has been spent but I have a lot coming up to show you, in both style and lifestyle, but for now here is an old photo from the fashion in nature exhibition at @vamuseum but a sentiment that is timeless ✌🏼
